Each tablet of Cosequin DS Plus MSM & HA contains: Glucosamine Hydrochloride 600 milligrams, Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate 300 milligrams, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 250 milligrams, Sodium Hyaluronate (HA) 6 milligrams, Manganese 3 milligrams.

What exactly are the benefits of Hyaluronic Acid for a dog? And what are the benefits of Omega 3’s for a dog? I am trying to compare your products to see which is a better fit for my dog.

This supplement features an exclusive combination of high purity glucosamine, low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate and manganese ascorbate, as well as MSM and HA for added efficacy. He has more energy.

Sumo is nine years old and is a German Shepard and lately he has been having trouble getting up and down the stairs. Jumping into the back of myRAV4 for us to go to the park. Since he’s been taking the Cosequin, he has been able to get up and down the stairs more easily. Even able to jump into the car more easily. He even enjoys being in the backyard playing catch with his favorite ball. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a dog that is having trouble with his hips.

I have two elderly dogs who enjoy these "treats". We have been giving this supplement to our first dog ever since he had CCL surgery and then started giving it to our newly adopted 14 year old dog as well. We have not found this to be a replacement for giving them arthritis pain meds, but our vet recommended we feed this supplement as well to help with their joint health and slow down decay.

I give these to my dog every day because we adopted her after she was hit by a car and had some pretty traumatic injuries. We were worried about her having chronic pain and being more stiff and just not able to run and jump and other things doggies do as well as she should be able to at her young age. We think she is about 2. She was unwilling to get on and off the bed on her own even though it isn't a very big jump for a dog her size. By the 3rd week of taking these, she started getting on the bed by herself without using steps or needing to be lifted. I can't say for certain it is from these supplements, but from observing her she seems to be less achey and I believe that is what allowed her to start using her body in ways that are natural to young pups.

Works well, he eats them

I have kept my dog on these since he turned 6. He is now 12 and has not slowed down a bit! We of course keep him on a good diet and exercise, but I am very confident

Game changer!!!

I was so depressed and upset when I noticed my dog slowing down. Over the course of a few months she went from puppy-like energy to bed ridden. She would struggle

I was so depressed and upset when I noticed my dog slowing down. Over the course of a few months she went from puppy-like energy to bed ridden. She would struggle to even stand up. Couldn’t get up the stairs on her own. Cuddling in my bed? Forget about it. She couldn’t even stand on her back legs to ask for my help. She gave up and would sleep in her own bed. We would try to take walks and wouldn’t even make it 10 minutes before she’d start crying and limping, then just stop and lay down whining. I didn’t know what to do. I picked this up after some research on ways to support arthritis. Within a few days she was noticibly more chipper even though she wasn’t moving much. I was satisfied with that! Imagine my surprise when she jumps in my bed in the middle of the night! I cried from excitement and happiness. It’s been 2 months now and she’s almost back to her old self. She’s running around in the yard with her doggy friends and playing fetch. She hops on the couch or my bed when she likes. She gets the zoomies when she’s excited. And get this: we even started hiking and taking mile long walks! We did a solid 10 miles this week! I mean broken up over a few days but omg! I’m so happy. I don’t care if I have to buy this for the rest of her life. It’s a small investment for health and quality of life. I’m excited to keep going in adventures with my best friend.

Cost effective

My younger bulldog was diagnosed with mild arthritis about a year ago. I was advised to start on a joint supplement. She never showed any symptoms of being in pain

My younger bulldog was diagnosed with mild arthritis about a year ago. I was advised to start on a joint supplement. She never showed any symptoms of being in pain or lameness. Still, I wanted to give her something to slow the progression. She eats the tablets with no issue. It did not upset her stomach. I have now started her mom on the same medication since she turned 5 a few months ago. This will remain a life long supplement for my girls. Luckily it's not an expensive supplement and it's good knowing the science behind this medication is sound.
