Had my dog on a vet rx. It was giving her upset stomach. So vet said take her off. I decided to try this one again. I give one tablet 2x a day with her food. It is better than nothing. Works so she can at least walk. She use to jump at the door which got to her rear legs. She quit that. But, now she lives with this. The rx was a bit better; but not the upset stomach that came with it.
I have just started giving these to Buddy, my pitbull boxer cross. We tried a different brand before but it was near impossible to get him to eat them. He crunches these up no problem, which is a victory as he can be quite picky. It's still early days to see if they are benefitting him but his back legs are looking a little straighter when he walks and runs
My dog has been taking another brand of joint health supplement and I switched to this one and within one week I see a big difference in his hind legs, to the point where he trots. He is 13 years old and close to 80 pounds.
HUGE IMPROVEMENT OVER OTHER BRANDS!! My very active beloved Border Collie began to have more joint problems,as do my Senior horses and other brands were not working well. So stopped being so cheap and got Cosequin for both! My dog is back to being very active, not falling down on wood floors. I also did get carpet runners & kitchen mats. Now she is back running inside and outdoors. Much improved going up & down the 5 steps of my porch!
Comes in large tablet which you don’t need to wrap in cheese as dogs easily chew it; I understand that it takes several months to see positive effect, so it’s too early to rate except for ease in administration
We've been giving this to our previous dogs and now to our current senior dogs we rescued last year. It really seems to help with their joints and mobility. We'll continue using it for as long as they live.
Our Mayhem is 12 years old. The vet had recommended something similar that just didn’t seem to work. She loved the chews but they didn’t seem to work. We saw these and based on reviews decided to try. We did as recommended 3 for 3 days then the recommend amount. She not only took them with no problem (first few we did with cheese) the. Nothing but the tablet. WOW!! What a difference!!! She went from barley being able to stand let alone run after sitting a bit, to running around acting like a puppy again! These are amazing and its great to having Mayhem being a Mayhem again!!! And it’s nice seeing that SMILE again!!!
Don't know if this is helping my dog or not - he's a one year old corgi and I was advised to start him on some sort of supplement early. He loves the taste though and sees the half portion he gets every day as a treat. No complaints.
Our dog is 15 and sustained a spine injury about a year ago. He can walk now but his hind legs are weak. I am trying cosequin to see if it helps him. He likes the taste so we'll see!
I have noticed a big difference in my dogs especially Max since taking this product, even my picky schnauzer will take it..
