Is there a difference between Dasuquin Advanced and Dasuquin?
Answer by ChewyOct 26, 2019
Dasaquin Advanced would be a veterinary clinic exclusive formula at this time. We encourage you to speak to your vet to determine which formula would be best for your pet.

Is this packaged in the big bottle shown or in blister packs like I bought from the vet? I'd like to cut down on packaging so the jar/bottle appeals to me.
Answer by ChewyJun 09, 2018
This supplement is packaged in a jar.

We have been giving our 9 yr. old lab cosequin w/ HA for over a year. If we switch him to Dosequin, does he still need the 2 tablets for the first 4weeks, or is maintaining 1 per day okay?
Answer by ChewyMay 16, 2018
This supplement requires an increased intake during the initial 4 - 6 week administration period, even if other supplements have been used.

Do you have to wait until your dog has symptoms or is this a preventative measure? I have a 65 lb lab mix, female, 10 yrs old, who isn't displaying symptoms but thought it may be a good preventative supplement. Advice?
Answer by ChewyMar 26, 2018
This supplement can be used for treatment or as a preventative. We encourage you to speak with your vet before starting this supplement.

My Dog Can’t Tolerate Glucosamine!

Thought this brand coupled with ingredients that lessen chance of digestive issues, would be the magic medicine. But to my dismay, Toby started with diarrhea with 24 hours. If your dog is sensitive to glucosamine this will not be tolerated by your pup from my experience.

Dr Lucey recommended this for Asher's arthritis. He has a sensitive stomach and has had no issues taking this. I love how much better he is moving around & that he is enjoying walks again.

Heart for pet owners

We recently lost or 20 month old AmStaff. Chewy was so kind as to send us a flower in her memory. I thought that was a terrific gesture.

Too soon to tell the effects. We started on 8/26 I think it should take at at least a month or more. Very happy with the service and fast delivery. Check in in a month.

Big improvement

My 90lb rottie mix is 8 years old and has arthritis. The vet recommended this supplement and I've seen a big improvement in her activity level and mood. I'll continue to order here since order placed to delivery was only 24 hrs.

Better than cosequin

My two great pyrenees have been on cosequin for a couple of years, but they were starting to limp a little in the mornings after running around at night. We switched to dasuquin and after a couple of weeks they seem much less stiff in the mornings and have stopped limping.

Great alternative to Dasuqin chews

My dog has eaten Dasuquin chews every day for a long time, but the flavor has changed recently, and my dog won't eat them. These chewable pills have the same active ingredients as the chews, and my pup gobbles it down in her food with no problem. Easy for everyone.
