Research backed and it works

Our vet recommended we switch from Tricox to Dasuquin because Dasuquin was backed by research. Our 8 year old bully suffers from arthritis in her knee due to an ACL injury/surgery. She’s been on this for about two months now and there has been a noticeable improvement in her mobility. We even switched our other dog to this since she had knee surgery as well and has been taking the tricox forever. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it’s not soft like the tricox. It breaks up if you try to hide other medication in it. If your dog has arthritis, talk to your vet and see if this might help.

MY BOSTON TERRIER WAS SCHEDULED FOR MAJOR SURGERY

After spending hundreds of dollars on an evaluation for a Luxating Patella, we tried this product and 2 weeks later her leg was much better and she wasn't walking and holding it up. As long as she is doing fine there will be no major surgery and we will continue this treatment.

Too early to tell

My 12 year old Cockapoo needs joint help. He’s only been taking it for two weeks, so I can’t tell yet if it’s working. I wanted to get the extra strength but I couldn’t put it in my cart. But, he likes the way it tastes, so that’s good.

Made my dog very sick that led to ER visit

Though a listed side affect was possible mild gastrointestinal upset and unfortunately my Frenchie, Within 3 hours of taking the supplement , she developed diarrhea and vomiting, and I am sure this is what caused it , because the only thing she ate was her regular food Beyond this. She aspirated at some point as her breathing became very rapid over the next hour or two and was dry coughing. Didn't mess around so took her to the ER vet and two days later and $2,000 later, yes she has aspirating pneumonia in her right lung, caused by aspiration of regurgitation caused by side effect of dasaquin. Vet has since informed me that she would recommend CBD supplements for joint support and stay away from the dasequin as some dogs just do not tolerate it very well. I would not have attempted to even try this if I knew there was such a high percentage of GI upset

these are great i have a corgi that runs and stops like the wind, and he'd keep bulling is mussel to where he could hardly walk, he's been taking these for a while and no more muscle pull. still runs like the wind and slaps on the breaks is you have a corgi you know what i mean. will keep him on these.

Our pups have been on Dasuquin for a few years now ... One is an old man (17 years old part poodle and part Scottish Terrier) ... he still plays like a puppy! The "young buck" (a 7 year old Maltese) gives him a run for his money!

Dog comes up steps better

My Snoopy dog is almost 15 years old and before he started on dasuquin he had trouble getting up my front 3 steps. Now with little hesitation he comes up.

My Vet Recommends

I've fed these to several dogs over the years in the hopes of forestalling arthritis! They are quite palatable: the dogs like them. I've only had one dog who had such extreme arthritis that Dasequin couldn't help him. My other two senior dogs have stayed spry. My 16 year old was arthritis free till the end and my 13 year old is ready to do agility!

She won't eat it

The vet had highly recommended Dasuquin and I know the benefits, but my Pup Molly (almost 15) was refusing the pills, so I ordered the soft chews - which, from the write-up - suggests the Pups will willingly and enjoyably ingest them. The smallest package was with 84 chewables and the recommendation to do maintenance every other day. Molly refuses any of it, no matter how much I try to hide it, disguise it, surround it with (what I thought was) tempting goodies. She will not eat any of her food surrounding it, either. There must be a strong medicinal odor which overpowers any attempts to disguise it. So - what next? She is deprived of the benefits because she will not ingest it and I am stuck with almost 80 Dasuquin chewables which will eventually be dumped in the trash.

Dasaquin is amazing stuff. I’ve tried all kinds of joint supplements for my very active Shepherd/Lab mix and this one OUTSHINES the others and gets her back to her usual active self in no time. EXCELLENT!!!!
