Very pleased!
By Jamie on Dec 1, 2020
My dog started becoming anxious as she's gotten older. Certain noises and especially fireworks and thunder stress her beyond belief. I tried a thunder shirt, a sedative my vet gave me, dog music, and treats; nothing has helped enough to stop her from climbing on and scratching me to the point I break out in hives. My vet recommended this product, I noticed she's not as jumpy and when the home alarm accidentally goes off she hardly reacts. She used to howl/yelp and run around! We haven't done 4th of July or NYE yet but my neighbors love any reason to light fireworks, so far she's just barked at them. My vet recommends upping the dosage leading up to the 2 big holidays but even without doing that My dog started becoming anxious as she's gotten older. My vet recommends upping the dosage leading up to the 2 big holidays but even without doing that I can tell she's not nearly as bothered as she used to be. I have hight hopes with NYE coming up. I also noticed she's become more patient for her meal times. She used to drive me crazy but now she doesn't whine and scratch, she'll even go lay down if I'm not giving in to her because its too early for dinner. That being said, she's still happy and excitable so it hasn't turned her into a zombie dog. I wish I found this product sooner! … more

Can't get him to eat them
By Catmom on Jan 1, 2021
I purchased these on a recommendation from a vet I spoke with on this site. She was a great help. Except my cat will not eat these,AT ALL!He ate the first two,and will not even touch them. I tried breaking them into his food ,and he ate around them. Now I'm stuck with a brand new bag( 4 missing thats all).and they can't help me if he will not eat them.

Good stuff!

We took in an older pup and she had a snippy disposition about things such as bathing, grooming and life in general on some days. This product was referred to me by a friend so I ordered it. It works great. It has helped her sunny disposition come right on out and she is a happier girl now.

Meh results
By Dogmom on Nov 6, 2020
I think this product works but probably not well. Our dog has been on it for about 8 weeks now and we give him 2 every morning. I think we'll change it to one at breakfast and one around 2pm or 3pm, though. After he gets the 2 in the morning, he's super calm for about 3-4 hours. After that, though, he's nuts again. He's a terrier/whippet mix about 20 pounds and this dog seriously is the most nervous little thing I've ever met. He loves to watch out of any window of our house for any movement and screams when he sees it. The pills essentially make him take naps in front of the windows instead of pacing so that's a nice change but, again, only for a brief time. Great results!
By Ellie on Oct 26, 2020
This product was highly recommended by my dog’s vet. I tried it for my high strung Yorkie. First time around I wasn’t sure it made a big difference. The main reason I tried it was to give him some relief from separation anxiety. A year later I decided to give it another try. One chew a day makes my feisty little dog noticeably calmer and less anxious, but not so much that he seems drugged at all. He’s 11 years old and still energetic and playful. I’m happy that I gave this product a second try.

Amazing supplement!

I bought this not knowing what to expect. I have a dog who has bad separation anxiety, and due to an upcoming move at the time of purchase, she was through the roof crazy with all the changes in the home. She started chewing things again and urinating in her crate. The vet wasn't keen on putting her on prescription meds due to the fact she has an autoimmune condition and already takes quite a bit of medication. Figured this was worth a shot and had a few backups prepared just in case. Well, twice I left her for short trips. I came back to a quiet house. Clearly she'd made the others bark like mad in her dislike of being left alone. My vet had not used this product, so I told her to check it out I bought this not knowing what to expect. I've also used it for day-long events, including the move. Everything went well. Heck, that day, I gave it to all four dogs. They were well-behaved all things considered with the constant noises and people helping with furniture. I highly recommend this! … more

These appear to be helping!
By Ilonka on Aug 23, 2020
My cat has been very agitated by a stray cat coming into our yard and it was making him aggressive and on edge constantly - I got these and it has greatly improved his demeanor, despite the fact the intruder cat is not gone yet! ONLY SUGGESTION FOR MANUFACTURER AND IF YOUR CAT STOPS EATING THEM, My cat is big (14 lbs) and takes the one for small dogs and large cats but it is a HUGE chewy thing, and after a few days he refused to eat it, I realized it may have been the size that made it hard to chew for an older gent with some dental work done (few teeth are gone) so I cut it in half and he is back to snarfing them up!

Must be tasty
By hathaprado on Aug 27, 2020
My dog acts like these supplements are yummy treats. I put them in her favorite plush with a pocket and she actually gets excited for them. The package says to give it 30 days, so I don’t feel like I can definitively say it works for her, but she has been calmer than usual. I’ve simultaneously been giving her more enrichment activities to promote calm.

Awesome value

These appear to be helping my nervous nelly schnauzer, but the best reason for choosing to purchase them from Chewy is that they were a third of the price as I paid my vet last time around!
