What are the types of fish oils in this?

Can you tell me how much the scoop holds in teaspoon measurement. I think I must have thrown the scoop away and had not done a measurement. My dog only weighs 7.6 pounds and I do not want to overdose him.

Answer by ChewyDec 19, 2018
The scoop is equivalent to 1.21731 teaspoons.

Is this scoops per day or per meal?

Answer by ChewyOct 15, 2022
The feeding instructions will show the total scoops per day for all dogs, except dogs weighing between 5 to 9 pounds. Pets under 9 pounds should be fed this supplement every other day.

When should I expect to see a difference/improvement in my dog’s skin health after introducing this product?

Answer by ChewyMay 12, 2021
As each pet is unique, individual results may vary. While many of Welactin’s important functions are at work inside your pet’s body, you may notice an improvement in your pet’s activity level, attitude, appetite, alertness, and general appearance.

While I'm sure that as far as nutrition goes, this product is probably very good. But it is a complete mess to give this to my dog. I use the little little scoop as per the directions, but it runs all down the bottle and gets all over my hands and kitchen counter. And since it's an oil-based product, it's quite a mess to clean up. I'm sure medically or nutrionally it's a wonderful product, but I'll be choosing another Omega 3 product when I need to order again.

My fault for buying. It is difficult to dispense into the measurement spoon, especially since the amount is only a half a spoon. My dog doesn’t much like the smell and is hesitant to eat(lack of gusto). I gave the item to the local pet shelter. Will be using Omgea 3 from VRS moving forward.

This liquid comes with a little serving scoop. The problem is the scoop gets nasty with the oily liquid, then gets whatever you put it on (counter, etc) all oily and dirty. Try to rinse off the little scoop - it stays oily and also sends water everywhere (like putting a spoon right under a faucet). And unfortunately my dog didn’t like it.

On my vet's recommendation, I started giving this to a rescue dog of mine with multiple protein allergies, a dull coat and dry, cracked paws. One bottle later, she is glossy and beautiful, with soft feet. Everyone remarks on the difference. I do wish they'd improve the packaging - the small measuring cup is fiddly and makes a mess no matter how I store it - but the contents are pure gold.

The vet recommended this oil for our mastiff a few weeks ago, as we try to figure out some allergy related skin issues. My dog is always super excited about taking the oil (we divide the full dose in half, and put it on his morning and evening food) and we can already tell the difference in both his skin and coat.

I don't know if this stuff works or not, but we decided to try it. After 3 different bottle tops, the latest is absolutely the best - no dripping or running down

I don't know if this stuff works or not, but we decided to try it. After 3 different bottle tops, the latest is absolutely the best - no dripping or running down the sides of the bottle. I congratulate whoever figured out to do it. We've been Nutramax fans for a long time.
