The caps can be given whole as a treat or mixed in with your dog’s food. The caps can also be punctured and the oil squeezed out and applied directly onto your dog’s food.

Completely impressed. My dogs have been on a different supplement for years. Recently they developed some itchy and their hair coat has not been the same. Within 1 week all 7 dogs hair coats feel amazing and the itchy has subsided a bit. Will definitely be staying on this product. I do want to mention that I only have 1 dog that is not a fan of the gel caps. I put a tad of Kong filling on each cap and he eats it, no problem at all

Fish oil without the mess!

I’ve been using these welactin fish oil soft gels for years and I truly think they have helped long term with my dogs’ mobility. My standard poodle has been on them for at least six years now and at twelve years old has no obvious joint problems. She really doesn’t like the fish oil liquid so these pills make things much easier. I just started giving them to my other little guy on the recommendation of his vet and he is tolerating them well, even with all of his health issues. These pills make dosing easy and traveling with fish oil much easier than the liquid as well. I definitely recommend these.

Whoever packed our two items took absolutely no care to make sure the items would arrive safely. They packed a 20 pound block of chicken supplement in with a fragile plastic bottle of fish oil supplements for our dogs. The bottle broke and one of the pills got crushed. Next time at least put some padding in with the items.

Recommended by my veterinarian for its high quality, I have found it is helping my elderly large breed dog with his skin (less itching), coat (shiny, soft), and joints (seemingly less stiffness). It’s easy to administer and agreeable to his digestion.

Our vet recommended this for our pugs. I have been using it for a number of years and it works well. I hide it in a bit of wet food so they gobble it down. The price has increased $5 a bottle so it is very expensive but worth it for my fur babies.

I have used for years, the last two orders were different. the shell of the capsule is hard and rigid. The dog won't and can't swallow. it is as hard as a rock. if you try and puncture to put over food, the capsule cracks and sprays. everywhere. I will look for a different brand in the future.

Half the cost of Omega-3 Chews and easy to use

When the price increased for the Welactin Omega-3 Chews we were using, with 2 large GSDs it became necessary to search for a less expensive option. Welactin Omega-3 softgels are half the cost of their Omega-3 Chews, same potency (1 gel per 20 pounds), and easier to use than the gallon jugs of fish oil option (which according to user reviews can leak, pumps can malfunction, and can upset dogs stomachs). Happily, I can just add these softgels to their food and they eat them without any problems.

After reading the reviews I was so excited to get this product. But two of my dogs are really pill haters. It says gel caps. It's very hard to poke a hole in them to allow the oil out. It squirts everywhere and oil goes mostly on my hands. Two of my boys will not chew these. Very tuff gel caps. Be careful if your babies don't like taking pills.
