Amazingly fast delivery! ordered late at night, delivered next morning.

At last I have scratch grain that my geese simply adore. They especially love the protein pellets. I've had trouble persuading them to eat scratch grain in the past

At last I have scratch grain that my geese simply adore. They especially love the protein pellets. I've had trouble persuading them to eat scratch grain in the past & I'm afraid they didn't care for the Nutrena waterfowl pellets at all. The ducks on the lake liked them though! I worry about my goose girls in "eggy" season because it's hard to get them to take supplemental nutrition such as black sunflower seeds & oyster shell. I've had to make pellets of wholegrain bread to hide the seeds & shell in. Time-consuming! And they still get much thinner & neglect preening. But when I mix the supplements with this scratch grain, they'll eat everything happily. Tampa city regulations say that the geese must be treated as wild birds & not confined so they spend most of their time on the lake. We get some vicious cold fronts in Florida &, while geese are well-insulated & don't mind cold, I have to get as much food into them as possble to keep them fat, impeccably groomed & beautiful. This scratch grain seems like a godsend. As far as I can see from the analysis, it contains no antibiotics - I wouldn't want that for my goose girls.

Whenever I give my 14 girls and two roos a different feed, I’m concerned they won’t eat it or will pick certain items out and leave some behind. So far, this feed is a hit without much left behind. In fact, I just ordered a second bag. My only complaint is that there has been dust left behind in every bowl I’ve put out. I’m not sure which part of the feed produces this dust. If not for that, I’d give it five stars.

This was a waste of money for me because my girls would not eat the pellets. Otherwise, it was always great quality, and I never found any bugs in it. If your flock likes pellets, I highly recommend it for it's variety of grains and high protein, especially during molting time.

Excellent quality food for my happy hens and roosters

For years, I've been buying scratch from our local feed store that's mostly cracked corn and not much variety. This feed has everything they love, and even smells

For years, I've been buying scratch from our local feed store that's mostly cracked corn and not much variety. This feed has everything they love, and even smells good! Their feathers are shiny, soft, and thick now that Winter's coming. Not only is this feed much higher quality than what the local feed store has, it's considerably cheaper AND I don't have to drive down the mountain, it's delivered to me. That saves me time and $$$, so I'm very happy with this superb product!

My chickens eat them fast

I have 2 chickens and they eat them all day around but they dont like the corns and small orange seeds. They like pellets and sun flower seeds. They are picky eaters

Love this new scratch I am buying! Firstly- for the price for a 50lb! but also for the items in it.... and the smell! It was unexpected. I mix this in with my geese, duck, chicken, and turkey feed and everytime I open the cans.... It smells so fruity sweet! I love it- and so do they. Hate to sound like a commercial, I swear I am not a paid writer for this scratch, but I am in... with every order. ...at least until they raise the price...

Expensive

This is really expensive and not what I thought it was. I can buy 50 pounds of cracked corn and 50 pounds of laying pellets at my local feed store for like 36.00
