Niacin content

Will this feed provide the right amount of niacin that ducks need? Or should I supplement with something else to provide that?

Is this feed suitable for Roosters?

Answer by ChewyJul 20, 2023
All Flock is crafted to support the needs of mixed flocks--including layers, broilers, turkeys, ducks, geese, and pheasants older than 7 weeks. It is fortified with vitamin D3 for hard shelled healthy eggs. Essential oils and natural plant extracts are added to promote feed consumption, and support bird growth and bone formation.

Is this for all birds older than 7 weeks or just pheasants older than 7 weeks?

Answer by ChewyJul 26, 2024
All Flock is crafted to support the needs of mixed flocks, including layers, broilers, turkeys, ducks, geese, and pheasants older than 7 weeks.

I tried this on my chickens, ducks and peacocks., They are so picky! They refused to eat it. I tried mixing it with scratch. They pick out the scratch and leave the rest. Even the squirrels turned it down. How can I get them to eat it? Ideas please. I bought two 50lb bags, the price was right, but wish I could get them to eat it? Even our goats would touch it. I just need to find the right food that they will eat. I need some advice and chewy is the best at helping me select the right brand.

Ordered in early November and manufacture date was late October, great! Very pleasantly surprised, as a couple of years ago Chewy was sending me feed that was several months away from the manufacture date, and the local TSC was selling six month old feed. My flock is small so I need a feed that will stay fresh until they eat it. This all prompted me to switch to another feed available from a local hardware store with a more robust business. Took a chance here as the local place doesn’t stock that brand in all flock pellets. Very happy with Chewy - the Nutrena pellets were all intact and there was almost no dust as I put it in my feed container. Chewy always ships fast, so I knew I could count on them for that. Will order again and stick with Chewy as long as they keep sending fresh bags!

I always enjoyed ordering from chewy but I came home today to 2 inch deep tire tracks and torn up grass across my entire front yard where the delivery driver backed and circled through my front yard instead of using the paved turn around area. I only received half my order so I’m hoping another driver delivers the second half of my order or I may have to consider other options.

My Brahmas love this feed!!! The pellets are clean, consistent, and easy for them to eat. It keeps their condition great year-round. My only wish is that they’d add marigold extract for that extra natural color boost in skin and feathers. Still, it’s one of the best feeds I’ve used!”

Excellent Pellets

My chickens are thriving on this product. I never believed the statements that egg production was dependent on high quality food. This product has proven me wrong

Disgusted with Fed Ex

Fed EX left it outside my door in the pouring rain and boxes all fell apart when all they had to do was put it on my covered porch.

Worth it for how well my chickens do

My flock of 10 chickens seems to really enjoy this feed. They’ve been healthy and laying regularly since switching. It smells fresh when I open the bag and doesn’t have that weird oily scent some other feeds do. The only downside is the price has gone up a little, but it’s still worth it for how well my birds do on it.

Many of the herbs used in this formula are for natural deworming. While deworming is a good thing, I believe feeding this food on a regular basis is the cause of multiple hens having diarrhea to the point of losing 2 out of 40 young layers. I tried this food 2 times. Both times had the same results. Then my neighbor brought up the fact that some of her hens had diarrhea. I asked what she had changed their food to. She told me All Flock...we compared notes; she stopped feeding them the All Flock and all was well. The remainder of the feed (2 bags) I had left is sitting in the bottom of a 55 gallon drum as I don't know what else to do with it!
