I bought three bags of these organic layer pellets for our flock of hens. We are over a month in and we've noticed significant reduced egg production and much thinner shells across the whole flock. This is usually the time of year that production ramps back up - they've molted and are done putting resources into new feathers, and the hot summer days are cooling off to a comfortable crisp autumn. I've raised chickens my whole life and have never come across something like this. I can't say for certain that its the feed - but its the only thing I can be sure that's different. I wont be purchasing this again.

Much Better than expected

After switching from a feed I been giving chickens before I noticed a very positive change in my chickens health.

Chickens approve

This is the best priced organic feed I've found on Chewy. Had a sweet smell. I've been fermenting it up to 48 hours with a mix of other add-ins. My flock eats it

This is the best priced organic feed I've found on Chewy. Had a sweet smell. I've been fermenting it up to 48 hours with a mix of other add-ins. My flock eats it up. This is a great option when I can't get their usual feed..

Please, no more, Mom

My birds just didn't like this. Even the chipmunks who sneak in didn't eat it.

Nice Bag

The bag seems to be made from fine, strong trees.

Chickens love it

We find it is hard to get organic chicken feed. This product meets our requirements. Autoship makes it east.

I wanted to like the brand but.,

First I ordered organic crumble feed for the chickens and noticed it disintegrates mysteriously So I posted a review and chewy refunded me for the purchased feed

First I ordered organic crumble feed for the chickens and noticed it disintegrates mysteriously So I posted a review and chewy refunded me for the purchased feed. I thought their crumble sucked so I ordered pallets the next time and a couple of times more after but every time I end up with about 8 to 10 cups of flour my chickens have to work around in their feeders to find pallets, not interested in eating flour. So it turns out all these bags I’ve been purchasing are infested with tiny black bugs that have been eating the feed I payed for and leaving disintegrated feed that goes to the trash. To top it off I was mixing this feed with the brand scratch and peck organic pallets So those darn insects have been having a feast on my account, beware if you have other feed around those insects because they’ll invade your good feed. Chewy should really double check if Nutrina passes the “quality” standards chewy wants to represent them by selling this infested product to their consumers. I’ve been a fantastic customer for a few years now. Do they really want to lose their customers? Cause I hate losing my money and bringing pests home in the process.
