This grain is another great product from Nutrena! It is the perfect blend of nutrients for active horses, performance horses, and hard keepers. My horse is active and a hard keeper which is not a great combination for keeping weight on her. She loves the flavor of this grain. She eats it like it’s candy! It’s full of great nutrients with no added fillers that don’t benefit the horse. It’s a product that is also carried in local stores. Nutrena is a trusted brand with high quality products. I’m very haply with the results of this grain so far!

I recently received this item free to try for my horses. They absolutely loved it so I decided to keep purchasing it. I still have them on their senior feed but add this to it as well. It's very easy to eat since most of my ponies are seniors especially my sweet 30+ year old mare with little teeth left.

Picky Eater Approved!

After recently losing our 39 year old Arabian, our other horse, a big 22 year old American Paint Horse was quite distressed and despite my efforts to entice him with other feeds, he ate very little. I was worried when he lost weight and muscle, looking rather thin and weak. I decided to try the Nutrena ProForce Fuel XF feed because of the fiber content, digestibility, and nutritional support for recovery. When I opened the bag, I was pleased to see a feed that smelled and looked great! I started adding the ProForce Fuel to our Paint's diet and I am happy to report that my 'picky eater' is now cleaning up his morning and evening feedings. It has only been about 10 days, so I cannot say that he has regained all of his weight and muscle, but he is definitely looking better and eating again. I'm looking forward to seeing my muscular and active Paint again.

Another Great Product From Nutrena!

I had not seen this particular feed before and was very interested in seeeing if my horses would like it. Well, it was received with enthusiasm by all three. I

I had not seen this particular feed before and was very interested in seeeing if my horses would like it. Well, it was received with enthusiasm by all three. I have one 31 year old senior who is on a senior feed, plus chopped alfalfa due to dentition issues, a 28 year old senior with cushings, and a 13 year old halflinger that is currently without issues. They all live on pasture full time and the 13 and 28 year olds get a ration balancer, while the oldest gets his vitamins and minerals in his fortified senior feed. I'm not looking to change their diets, as they are all stable and doing well at this time. Instead, I topdressed their ration with a handful of the Fuel FX. It smells wonderful, like a molasses cookie! The texture is great, and not at all sticky. All three of my horses took to it readily and licked thier buckets clean, not even a tiny oat left! I like that it has beet pulp for fiber, and is low starch ( a plus for my cushings guy). I have since learned that this feed is made in a senior form also, which I may switch my guys to in the future if thier situations change.

My retired show horse needs a feed that supports his health without packing on the pounds. The 50-lb bag of Nutrena ProForce Fuel XF is a fantastic choice for my 17.2 hand Warmblood gelding. This feed has the appearance of a rich, wholesome mixture that our 26 yr old Molly mule eats like it tastes really great. She was at the stage where she ate fairly ok one day but snubbed her nose up the next meal and seldom cleaned her bucket. She eats her twice a day meals completely now and there’s no hesitation coming into her stall for her next serving. We, she and I both, like this Feed and it’s a parent benefit in her diet.

I am just starting to feed this to my horse by mixing it with current feed for the changeover. So far, all I can say is that he does eat it. That’s the first hurdle!
