Nutro Ultra Adult Small Breed Weight Management High Protein Chicken, Lamb & Salmon Dry Dog Food, 12-lb bag

BACKGROUND : I was so happy to find this with the ingredient list that I approved of. Quality ingredients, ancient grains, most important to me no legumes or peas. Our pups Rotate through variety and blended diet, (meaning I mix brands at changing intervals and blends keeping my dogs diets interesting, balanced and intentional). Mostly consisting ultra premium brands. Mochi started to get get a little overweight, so we had to look for a weight management kibble we could trust. This is the brand I have trusted In the past, and was happy to see that they had this option. PALATABILITY AND KIBBLE: So this gets mixed in with other brands; however, this is Mochi’s primary in her blend (50% on average) and she joyed it from the first time I gave it to her and continues to like it. The kibble size is perfect and the shape is unique. RESULTS AND WEIGHT: She’s been on it for ABOUT A YEAR and it has helped her get back to a healthy weight and profile. She’s in perfect health, has never had any digestive issues, or changes in activity. NEGATIVE: Mochi is a 4 pound Yorkie Maltese mix and a 12 pound bag it’s just too big. I really wish they would add a 4 pound option or even an 8 lbs. 12 pounds bag of food in 4x Mochi size. I would like to keep their food is fresh as possible and purchase more frequently. The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because of the size options. I understand that Mochi is smaller than most but 12 pounds (the smallest option) of dog food is ALMOST equal to the average small dog body weight. I Look forward to changing this to a five star review once they add a smaller size option.
