1. So how many squirts is a dose? and 2. For a medium dog like a shih tzu how many doses in 4 oz bottle?

1 squirt per dose. Can be used 1 to 2 times a day. This product is best used on your dog every day. It is recommended that you withhold food and water for about 30 minutes after spraying to prevent dilution. Licking lips and teeth will help spread the product out and ensure an even coating is achieved. After 2 - 3 weeks, start wiping your dog’s teeth before spraying to remove loosened plaque. After a month or two, you can reduce the applications to a few times a week, but be sure to keep up with regular maintenance to prevent future tartar issues.

It works, Stick with it - it takes time

Have a 10 year old rescue that obviously never had her teeth brushed. It was impossible to train her to have her teeth brushed so I looked for other options. Based on reviews I bought this product. When I started using it, she had tartar build up so bad, you couldn't see her individual back teeth. I used it religiously, once a day. Its taken a year, but her teeth are now absolutely clean. She doesn't mind the taste and its a 10 second procedure. Stick with it, it does work.

not for my dog

My dog disliked the taste. He is a mellow dog that allows me to brush his teeth daily. I wanted to use this foam when he goes to boarding. It will not be possible to use it as he dislikes it very much

Freshens Mouth

This product has given a good rating for freshening mouth odor. Only 2 weeks into using teeth appear a little better. if continues to help his breath Smelling better then it is worth every penny. My dog is 11 years old only weigh 3 lbs. anesthetic is a little ify. In the mean time this product seem to do a fairly good job, at least we don't smell him coming any more.

Tartar Remover? Nope

This product was very disappointing. It was messy and after several uses, I saw no change. My dog hated the taste and would literally run from me when she saw the bottle in my hand. Totally not worth the $12.

What a nice suprise it's Working!

Started using Nylabone advanced oral care foaming tartar remover on August 4, 2021 on our small doxie 7 yrs. whose teeth are brownish, and our medium mix 9 yrs. that has nice teeth but tartar building on two of them. Using as directed twice a day and also brushing once a day. Now a month later, our doxie's brownish teeth are cleaning up nicely and our medium's tartar is coming off. I've tried many different paste and gels etc. but this is the only that is really working. Hope this gives hope.

I’m Impressed!!

I bought this on a whim and based on the reviews. My 8 y/o dog had his teeth cleaned a month ago, and I’ve used this daily since. His teeth still look as clean as the day he had them cleaned at the vet! I have a 13 y/o dog who has always refused to allow me to brush her teeth. This has made a marked improvement in the way her teeth look, too. They both love the taste, although my 13 y/o is leery of the pump foaming action but will lick it off my finger or a finger toothbrush. I wish I had taken “before” photos!

It Really Works

This product really works ! My old girl had bad very breath and lots of tarter & stains. Vet was recommending an expensive cleaning. Decided to try this product. Noticed a change with her breath immediately After 1 month of daily use tarter & stains were noticeably diminished. After 2 months of use no tarter & no staining Vet had never heard of it & was surprised how well it worked, his Tech took a picture of the bottle & said she would recommend it to other clients.
