Are the ingredients sourced from the USA ?

Our Old Mother Hubbard ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. They have the appropriate quality programs in place at all their vendor locations are safe and secure with all the ingredients they source, whether they are sourced locally or globally.
Why is charcoal an ingredient in this product?

Wrong size

I ordered small Mother Hubbard dog bones. Chewy sent me large! Sucks! Now I have to break them to give to my dog when we are training. She is my mobility assistance dog. Very I convenient, in my opinion you should always get what you pay for. Chewy failed on this one!

Perfect

I needed soft treats after my dog's oral surgery. I decided to soak the ones I had. It was odd how the other brand used a lot of water and layered apart. Not these! They softened perfectly which I am fairly certain has everything to do with what they are made from and what is not in them. My dog has eaten both dry (as they come) and soft and really likes them. Other treats she has sniffed and sort of opens her mouth to barely take it as though she doesn't want to offend me. These she takes with gumption! Definitely buy again treats!

My dogs love these

We have developed a routine - every morning my dogs get a snack of wet food added to the dry and just before I leave for work they get one of these cookies. A couple of time when I was in a rush I forgot the cookies. Instead of leaving with me, they both did their best "sit stay" and refused to budge until I remembered the cookie. Sure, they are dogs and love treats, but they react differently with these. They must taste really great. I also like the fact that the ingredients are healthy for a cookie and not full of artificial junk.

Moth/bugs in treats

Beware! First box of these treats that I’ve purchased, was trying to switch to something more healthier than milkbones. First half of the box was fine but when I last went to refill our treat container I noticed this stringy saw dust looking stuff hanging from multiple treats. I moved it around with my finger and noticed there were dead moth like bugs inside of that!! Not just on one biscuit but many!! The rest have been thrown out and I will NOT buy this brand again!!!!

3 BOXES OF BROKEN TREATS

This has happened in the past to me but silly me couldn’t resist a buy 2 get one free deal. Of course when I inspected all 3 boxes, the treats were all broken. This is unacceptable!!!

Old Mother Hubbard's Dog Biscuits

Shaped like a bone, 4 or 5 different flavors. At first, my dogs would have none of them . Then, they started giving them a taste, and they've begun to like them. So maybe it was the whole organic thing. My dogs are bourgeois' .

something’s changed

I have been using these treats for almost 2 years, my dog loved them! However, something in the recipe has changed or they are sending out old, stale, maybe even tasteless treats because most of the time he won’t take them anymore. They smell different than they used to and don’t break in half as easily. This has been the case with the past two shipments. Something is different about them and my dog noticed from day one. We’re tossing the rest and moving on to another brand!

Biscuts

The Old Mother Hubard Original Mix is a good hit with my crew. The are large enough for my large to medium size dogs. I have 3 and the value size is enough to keep them is treats for awhile!
