Not the scratcher you're looking for
One foot pad came off as soon as I took the scratcher out of the package, another foot came off when I leaned it against the wall. I replaced the feet but it's flimsy so the cats didn't want to use it while up against the wall. They much preferred to "hide" behind it rather than scratch on it. The only reason I haven't thrown it out is because one of my cats has taken to it when it's flat on the floor. Save your money, definitely not worth the price.
Could be better
I have ordered several of the rope covered scratching towers, only to have my cat rip through the rope in not time at all. It also left little twine hairs everywhere. I had hoped this carpet covered scratching pad would work better. No chance. It is very light weight and slides across the floor too easily. The underneath side does not have any place for me to attach something to keep it from sliding. It also says it can be leaned against a wall. That doesn't work either. Will not order again.
Disappointed
Third time I've tried to leave review with pictures. Not typing everything again. Ugly, raggedy edges and flimsy. First time I have been unhappy with something right out of the box.
Not worth the money
This is very thin and snapped shortly after I got it. Only one cat would use it as a scratcher. The other two just sniffed it and chewed on it and it's plastic! I wouldn't buy this again. After my one cat used it 2 or 3 times, it snapped in the middle. He is a big cat but it should be able to take the weight of a cat!
Keep your money
Save your money! Cheap piece of carpet to soft to interest any self respecting cat for use as a scratching post! Definitely not worth 20 bucks.
Nope not for my cats
Seemed very flimsy. Cats were very weary of it. Bent if they tramped on it and the little pads on the feet to keep it standing against the wall fell off immediately. I basically would not recommend.
Too small
It is very small for the cost The cats can not scratch with out it move if across the floor
Good to stop carpet scratching
We have one cat that likes to scratch the carpet, rather than a post, so we gave this a try. So far, it works, far better than vertical posts!
great affordable scratcher!
It’s been really tough trying to find scratchers my cat will use. He loves scratching carpet and took to this scratcher almost immediately, which is especially great considering the price point. I’ll probably end up buying a couple more of these to place around the house. Definitely recommend if your cat doesn’t like the feel of sisal!
My Cats like it!
Needed another cat scratcher in the house and this works great. Easy to move to whatever room I want.
