Do you just put the pad on the old treads or do you need to remove the old ones first? If you must remove the old ones, what is suggested for removal?

The old pads do need to be removed before replacing. They function like big stickers, so all you need to do is find the seam between two pads, grab the edge, and peel it up and off. If the pad doesn’t want to come off easily, warming it up first with a hairdryer will help loosen the grip of the adhesive so that you can get it off.

Gray felt is a hit at my house!

We have a Generation 6 One Fast Cat wheel that our bengal, Kazooie, absolutely adores. We've tried a pattern foam pads, the black felt pads, and now the gray felt

We have a Generation 6 One Fast Cat wheel that our bengal, Kazooie, absolutely adores. We've tried a pattern foam pads, the black felt pads, and now the gray felt and the gray felt is by far the winner. The felt pads seem to stand up better to use than the foam pads that my cat used to just rip up. The pattern foam seemed to confuse our cat. She would either get dizzy from watching the pattern circle around her while she ran or she would just sit on the wheel and stare at the pattern. The felt pads were an instant hit as it seems to be better for her claws and she hasn't been ripping it up like she did with the foam pads. The felt pads also appear to release better than the foam pads when it's time to replace them. We were able to peel off each of the felt pads whole when it came to replacement time whereas the foam pads used to break up and come off in small ripped sections. For the felt pads colors, I love the gray most because it's easy to see if there's a mess or something on the wheel - everything used to just blend in on the black pads. And I wouldn't try a pattern again after seeing my cat's reaction to it. I'm so glad that Chewy carries this product line now! If you have an energetic cat, or a bengal like mine, you should absolutely try this wheel and the new gray felt pads!

Even those pads are for the generation 7 cat wheel, they fit perfectly on the generation 5 wheel. You only have to cut the last pad a little shorter. It took a

Fun Pattern

I actually got the koi fish, love the pattern! Relatively easy to stick on, don’t press them in until you are happy with how they line up - then if it’s off you

I actually got the koi fish, love the pattern! Relatively easy to stick on, don’t press them in until you are happy with how they line up - then if it’s off you can peel them off and reapply. Even though these are for GEN 6-7 wheels, I was able to use on my GEN 5. The last pad was slightly too long so just trimmed off the excess.

Won't work for my weird cats.

They are very pretty. But all my cats that use the wheel stop, slow down or jump over the printed fish when it comes around! The fish totally distracts them. Went
