The manufacturer makes their foods out of two state-of-the-art kitchens. Their NorthStar Kitchen located in Alberta, Canada produces food for Canada, Europe, and surrounding countries, Africa, and Asia. Their DogStar Kitchens located in Kentucky, USA service the USA and South America.
ORIJEN focus when sourcing ingredients has always been on using ingredients from suppliers they know and trust. Part of this commitment is choosing suppliers with the technical expertise and discipline to give us the best ingredients available. While they do not source ingredients directly from China, some of their B vitamins are made with raw materials that originate in China. This would apply to vitamins B1 and B6, and is consistent throughout the pet food industry. They require that any vitamin components sourced from China must be human grade, and as such they undergo intensive testing to ensure the purity of the ingredient and accuracy of the blend.
