When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ORIJEN. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ORIJEN, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ORIJEN.

Love Orijen but not this flavor
By Shea on Apr 11, 2021
One of my pups is allergic to chicken and potatoes so I’m limited on what I can get for her. I bought her the Six Fish flavor of Orijen and she will not touch it. She isn’t picky, she’s a JRT and eats everything but she will not eat this. The Regional Red flavor gives her some tummy issues. She loved the Senior and Small Breed flavors but since the chicken allergy is so bad she can no longer have them. Orijen is my favorite brand of dog food but I’m sad I can’t find a flavor for her.

Not sure yet
By Dogfood on Apr 8, 2021
First time buying it. Mixed it with my old dog food. I thought my dogs where going to dig in. But they haven't. I switched dog food because my dogs stop eating America Journey and I thought I would give this a try. No change on my dogs yet. It's been about 5 days.

Loving it!
By DebP on Feb 28, 2021
My dogs are loving this food and transitioned immediately, without issue. I plan to alternate this with bags of Acana Lamb & Apple. Tried new foods bc my dogs were eating dirt - I don't know why - but suspected that something could have been missing from their diets. Hoping that alternating will fill any blanks. We tried small bags of various Orijen and Acana (avoiding chicken) and these were the two winners, so far :)

Yummy! She said
By Mandy on Apr 4, 2021
She didn't get tummy problems with the food alternating ritual this time. I keep it down to two different brands and stay within 3 formulas. She is loving Orijen so much that I may stay with that brand from now on.

great option for dog with allergies
By love on Apr 6, 2021
My dog is allergic to almost everything and this is one of only a couple brand I found that had quality ingredients and no fillers. She loves this food, it is stinky but that is to be expected. I will definitely keep buying this for her.

Dogs love it but...
By Gizzy on Mar 7, 2021
I guess you'd say you get what you pay for. It's worth the money if you can afford it. My dogs love orijen but the expense is more than I can really afford that's why 4 stars. I'm currently mixing it with his in the wild food cuz he has skin issues and needs fish based food. I would recommend it IF you can afford a hundred dollar bag of dog food.

Great food and great ingredients
By BenLen on Mar 8, 2021
The ingredients are what sold me to this new brand for my dogs. A lot of fish formulas still contain chicken in them, which makes absolutely no sense and I was happy to find that this brand does not. I would love it if they carried this same formula for small breeds but my two Chihuahuas still eat it.

My Westie loves this
By Tifille on Apr 3, 2021
My Westie loves this - I mix in a little warm water and her bowl is licked clean. It is helping her to not be so hungry all the time since her diabetic diagnosis. I really recommend this for small dogs.

Really love it
By Love on Mar 19, 2021
My babe calypso since she was born has very bad itching and skin problems. And I tried this food and within a few days of her eating it the itching stopped and her skin and coat are getting better. And she loves the taste!

EXCELLENT for dogs with food allergies
By Michelle on Feb 17, 2021
EXCELLENT high quality food but far too pricey with our current economy. I HIGHLY recommend this food as our rescued German Shepherd puppy has food allergies and this has helped him a great deal but unfortunately we can't afford the food anymore. There are no hidden ingredients. And the price is the same everywhere that Orijen is sold.
