ORIJEN Six Fish Grain-Free Dry Dog Food

Good but gives my dog soft and more stool.

She likes the food and I thought it would be good change from her usual diet original Origen. However, it gave her more poops and they are soft. I will use up this bag, but may consider to go back the original or change to another one.

Two out o three

All 3 of my dogs love this kibble but only 2 of them get to eat it. After purchase of the first bag I learned that my golden retriever has arrythemia so off to the vet we go. After many hours of research and talking to a few vets I learned, for Goldies, that they should not eat pulses, lentils, sweet potatoes and legumes due to how those items affect the uptake of taurine (an amino acid) which can contribute to cardiomyopathy. Back to shopping I go.

Bag has sharp edges. Be careful!

I've been feeding my dog with this food for the last few years since she developed allergy symptoms with other brands. We discovered she has allergic skin reactions to chicken and beef. So we found this expensive Orijen seafood variety and she no longer has the skin problem. She seems to like it and eats well too so we're happy with the product itself. However, when I tried to handle the heavy bag, I cut my finger on the sharp edge of the bag. I never realized how sharp and stiff they were, and it is very dangerous when lifting a full heavy bag. I hope the company would make some change to address the problem.

Excellent quality kibbles

Both dogs prefer the flavor to other brands. High protein - good quality food for active gsp. Alleviated digestive issues.

I requested that the order be canceled and the customer service it was and yet still sent to me. My dogs didn’t like it.

Finicky eater

My finicky pom Caio loves this food. He used to just nibble occasionally but with this he eats enough to where he doesn't try to beg for human food. It smells like good quality and o am hoping soon I will see the results in his fur and nails.

Not good. My dog puked every morning when he was on this food. Consumers are being scammed by these trendy dog foods.

SKIN/COAT SAVED

After 2 weeks of exclusively 6 Fish, my Lab and English Bulldog both have shiny coats, no itchy ears or paws, healthy stools, and they love it! We tried this to try and heal their skin and coats after a horrible experience with Acana Ancient Grains (vet recommended switch due to all the grain-free drama — she was wrong). We have not experienced fishy breath, burps, or farts like some of the other reviewers. MUCH BETTER than any fish-based dog food I’ve ever purchased. It smells “fishy”, but like a seafood market rather than an old can of tuna. Orijen is expensive, but there is zero waste (no kibble powder at the bottom) and is more nutrient-dense, so the serving size is smaller than other brands.

Good dry food.

The food is great and has been solving our feeding issues for almost 4 years now. They do occasionally stop eating it, so we wet it or Change the flavor, and it solves the issue. Wish there was a smaller kibble size. This one is average.

made my pup smelly

Our regular food became discontinued, so I tried this one based on online reviews. I’ve been gradually increasing the quantity of this food with her old food, but we’re stuck at a 50/50 mix. Any time I go more than 50/50, she has horrible diarrhea. The worst part is she now has the SMELLIEST FARTS I HAVE EVER SMELLED. It smells like rotten cabbage, and I am about to throw up just thinking of it.
