Is this food baked or high heat processed?

Orijen uses the extrusion process to cook their kibble. The kibble is cooked in its own steam at approximately 198-240 degrees Fahrenheit, which is low enough to maintain the nutritional integrity of the ingredients. The temperatures this brand uses remove any harmful pathogens that can be present in fresh meats.

Been using Orijen for awhile now. In time past we have gone thru various brands looking for the perfect food for Mr. Picky. We've concluded that he loves Beef and Orijen is the hot food now but unfortunately he turns his nose up once in awhile because he wants a tasty topping. So his wish is our command. While now it was get old. He loves his food but expects his topping. We thought we'd give a try with this new Orijen Wild Reserve Beef flavor. I was a little skeptical because of the higher price for a smaller quality but caught it on sale so gave it a shot. We've been using it for a few weeks now and he loves it. No more topping. He gobble it down and seems more satisfied. My wife also noticed that he seems to be filled with a smaller quantity than the Orijen Red. We both agree we are back in his good graces. No more trips looking for toppings, so we're saving money and time . Highly recommend Orijen Wild Reserve if you have a picky eater like Mr. Sullivan, or if your just looking for an outstanding food. Thank you again Orijen and of course Chewy for your outstanding service.

Per my four legged friends reaction to this flavor of food, I'm guessing they give it 4 paws + 1 tail x 2. They absolutely KNOW what time they get fed, yet they try to fool me in thinking it's time for foods since we opened this bag. My golden girl does a tippity tap dance as I'm opening the pantry door. They love all of the Orijen grain FULL flavors (well, except for maybe the 'Trim and Fit', because "diet food"), but I can tell this one is their fave!

My dogs Xena and Melli are obsessed with this food. I got the 12 lb bag to try it out, and let me tell you, it was a hit from the very first handful. I’m doing a slow transition, so I started by mixing in just a few pieces with their old kibble. Well… they weren’t having it. They literally looked at me like, “Mom. Are you serious? We want more of THAT.” The quality is seriously impressive. You can tell it’s packed with real ingredients, and the beef liver morsels are a total game-changer. I’ve actually been feeding those as individual treats—yes, it’s that good. Even my picky one (hi, Melli) is eating with enthusiasm. If you’re on the fence, do it. It smells fresh, the dogs go nuts for it, and I feel good knowing it’s loaded with protein and none of the filler stuff. Definitely keeping this in the rotation!

i got this product to replace the Victor brand about a year ago at a friends suggestion, given the sheer #of maggots that grew when I accidently left the Victor wet and it was pushed under a table, This happened 3 times...2 too many. Orijen does not produce that type of issue and all three of my mastiff's eat it...Try the salmon!

These kibbles and freeze dried morsels are excellent and my three dogs are loving them. I have a yorkie, a black german shepherd and a senior german shepherd mix and I started giving them as a topper to their regular food. They now go to the bag and beg to have more, This morning, my black GM went in the bag and helped himself with a couple of mouthfuls before I could stop him. The food smells delicious, and the morsels look really good. I really wish would not be so expensive and I could afford as a regular food for all my dogs. For now is just a topper.
