Our 6-year-old medium-sized pup enjoyed this! We like that the ingredients are whole-foods, with the major protein sources being the first ingredients. The freeze-dried chicken pieces add some variety to the meal, and she’s enjoyed both the kibble and freeze-dried chicken pieces (though she is not a particularly picky eater). The kibble itself is not as hard as some other kibbles we’ve tried (we were able to break it apart with our fingers with some effort). We’ve had good experiences with orijen cat food for our cats previously and were excited to treat our pup to the same!

I was quite impressed with the ingredients of Orijen's Wild Reserve dog food. The first seven are meats and fish, and it includes many good vegetables and greens, adding many health benefits for my dog. It contains freeze-dried morsels of chicken giving this food a good amount of protein, as well as Omega 3 fatty acids for skin and coat. My dog, Jack has been enjoying this food and his skin and coat are looking great!

Rudy has been on this food for just over 2 weeks and its been great. Diet changes can be a little rough on his stomach, but we had no issues after introducing this one. The extra freeze-dried chicken bits are a real treat. Rudy's coat looks shinier than ever. I mix the food with water and feed it in a slow feeder to force him to pace himself, otherwise he'd binge this stuff way too quickly. We're big fans!

I switched my dogs to ORIJEN Wild Reserve a few months ago, and the difference has been obvious. The ingredients are real and high-quality (no fillers), their coats are shinier, digestion is smooth, and their energy feels balanced, not hyper or sluggish. The kibble is a good size, the resealable bag keeps it fresh, and they actually look forward to mealtime now. Yes, it’s pricier than grocery brands, but you truly get what you pay for. If you want visible health benefits and peace of mind about what’s in your dog’s bowl, this food is worth it.

I usually look for grain-free food for my 4 pups, but this one doesn’t appear to have corn or wheat products, and is still almost 40% protein. They seemed to really like it! Might be because it’s “new” (to them), but time will tell. Orijen has always been a good solid choice, high in protein, with good fats and antioxidants. Would definitely consider this food in the future as part of their diet. I have 3 Great Pyrenees, and a beagle. They all eat plenty of good, expensive food. This one is definitely worth consideration.
