Wanted to give this product a little bit of time before leaving a review. I have been sprinkling a scoop on my dogs morning meal for the past several weeks. This powder has a greenish hue & is stated to have a bacon flavor. Both of my dogs enjoy this powder very much. That's saying a lot because I have one who is very particular about what she eats. This Oral-Health Postbiotic Powder has been a wonderful addition to our dental care routine. I do regularly brush my dogs teeth, and I have seen improvement in plaque build up since the addition of Doggie Dental. The number one thing I am pleased with about this product is its ability to freshen doggy breath. My one pup is a kissing machine and Doggie Dental has made those kisses a lot fresher with no stinky dog breath. A natural way to aid in canine dental care is a win for our house for sure! This improved both of my dogs' breath within three days! It's only one dose a day, and can be applied to their food as either powder or turned into a slurry. I tried both ways and my dogs liked it in either form, but I preferred to serve it mixed with water. My only concern is that I hope the manufacturer adjusts the label so that information remains on the container after opening. At this time, the entire label is a wrapper without any perforation around the circumference of the lid. So opening the product removes information that I wish would stay on the container, like the instructions and product name.

This product is very easy to use and my dog does not seem to notice any taste difference in her food. My dog is almost 11 and has a heart condition. I was advised by a vet not to have any more dentals done due to her age and heart condition. So this product is a great help to keep her teeth in good shape without having to put her under for a dental. I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks though - I cannot comment on the impact on her teeth yet.

Sadie-baby is loving this powder. It smells vaguely minty and is sort of a greenie-gray color, probably from the kelp and some of the other ingredients. I tasted

Sadie-baby is loving this powder. It smells vaguely minty and is sort of a greenie-gray color, probably from the kelp and some of the other ingredients. I tasted a little dab of it myself and it DOES have a decided bacon taste, along with some bitterness from the fennel and the chicory, but I sprinkle it on top of her evening meal witch is wet food mixed with kibble and she gobbles it up. Sadie gets her teeth cleaned every couple of years, and it's not cheap. She has genetically bad teeth and, at nine, has had a total of 11 pulled (she's a rescue and didn't have her teeth cleaned prior to me getting her, I believe). I'm all for something that will help her potentially keep what she still has, and biofilm is a huge culprit in tooth decay in dogs. She can be a little picky about food and treats but has no problem scarfing down her food with this on top. There's nothing in it that I wouldn't put into my own body, and I'm pretty careful about what goes into her since she can't regulate the chemicals she ingests without my help.

His breath always seems to be bad, like medically bad (don't worry we've been to the vet, it's not anything alarming health wise) but this powder helps his kibble not stick to his teeth so much which I think it's the biggest reason for his ripe breath. I'm hoping the benefits continue! Definitely would recommend giving it a try

This is a tough one to review as I have one dog that is a puppy with shiny new teeth and an older dog who just had a professional cleaning so I won't notice if it has an effect on teeth. Both dogs seem to enjoy it, wet or dry, mixed with their food. I have noticed that the older dog's breath has improved 100% as it tends to be very doggy even after cleanings but now I let him kiss me all the time, lol.

I am using this product for her morning meal. I like the smell of the dental supplement, though I can't quite place it. I mix the scoopful in a 1/4 cup of hot water, with a fork because it breaks the powder up better. I then pour it over her kibble and she gobbles it up. Though her breath wasn't terrible, it was noticeable when up close and the benefit from the supplement was immediate. She is tolerating it well, no side effects that I've seen.

This product seems to be a hit with my dog. I wasn’t sure he’d like it at first because to me it smells minty, but it is described as bacon flavored. Anytime I mix it in with my dogs dry kibble food, my dog eats all his kibble. So he must like the taste! I haven’t noticed any difference in his breath (wasn’t very bad to start) or the health of his teeth, but maybe time will tell with more consistent use!
