I have a 19 year old Bichon. When she was in her prime, she was 12 lbs. Now she's down to 7.5 lbs. She has lost her muscle mass, so no meat on her haunches. She is narrowest at her rear. How do diapers stay on? Counting on the waist to be the narrowest point so that it doesn't slip down their rears and thighs. These MIGHT stay on if the tail hole was placed farther down. But where it is, there is not enough diaper coming up around her waist and back, so it slips off. When are most dogs incontinent? When they're old. And many senior dogs lose weight. If your dog has retained its thigh muscles, these might stay on. There was another brand I can't find anymore that had more fabric on the back and they stayed on better. I'm now using regular human diapers and cutting out the tail holes...With the velcro straps and more fabric riding up higher, they stay on perfectly. This brand needs to read their user reviews and reposition the tail hole and use velcro tabs.
Purchased the Toy size for our 17 y/o Senior Chihuahua that is less than 6 pounds. I think the issue is the position of the tail hole and maybe the diaper should be longer.
I don't know who designed this product but they've clearly never seen a dog before. I have a pit bull girl with a typical lean pit bull body. You know the one. Long legs, very thin waist, deep chest, long body. In order to fit her waist AND STAY ON her body, it needs to ride up further on her waist and have a wider band. And an XL don't fit her. They come right off. I can't tell you how many of these I've wasted. This is NOT an XL dog. A mastiff is XL, a newfie. Heck, even a labrador retriever. Not a little pit bull. Don't waste your money.
These diapers would be better with the Velcro tabs. Because these are plastic and when you take them off to go potty they tear so you can't reuse them if they aren't dirty. Want be buying again unless they redo the tabs. other wise waste of diapers and money
Didn’t even last 5 mins. Made of cheap plastic. Tabs are really bad quality tape, not velcro. Would NEVER recommend this product.
Based on the sizing, this should have fit my chihuahua. However, it seemed a little too small. Needed the suspenders to keep it from slipping off. Also, the tabs are just tape, not velcro so they lose their stickability (had to use duct tape to refasten).
Great product! very helpful and easy to use. And it not necessary to write a letter to review you products. Thanks
Catches pee fine. Poop slips out tho and it’s really confusing. Took my ages to figure out the tail hole is too big.
Item appeared to be of good quality but did not fit our girl. I measured according to the instructions but once the tail was thru the little hole the middle did not go around her. Gave to a friend who works for a vet to pass on. Product had NO problem or issues, I just should have gotten a larger size for her.
These diapers do not fit a 16 above waist it says they fit up to 18 inch waist
