This has allowed me to let my cat be outside safely. I live in a 1st level apartment and this helps my cat be outside without running off. She can move it around so if you are near a road you would have to stake it down, which it comes with. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I have purchased the 2nd tunnel and this units wire coil has come out sooner than the last one...It has something that holds the end wire coils together but it doesn't hold the wire ends anymore. So that needs to be a better quality. So now I'm looking for a sturdier enclosure since I don't know how to put the coil back in once it starts to unravel and it's now kind of dangerous trying to put the coil back in the bag. I close my eyes because when the coil snaps out it could hit me in the eye. Like I said, it's great until it starts to come undone.
This product is just what my little city cat needed, in order to get the feeling of being outside. I put her on my patio in the shade, and she loves to watch birds and butterflies, as well as watch the other cats from the neighborhood come strolling along, to sniff through the mesh.
Our cat is diabetic and we have to take her camping. She loved being outside with us.
Bought tunnel for cat that travels in RV to have out door time. Upon opening and popping up tunnel, my big Maine Coon cat jumped in and started playing. I was happy. I zipped the ends up and let the fun begin. Within minutes Big Boy had busted the zipper. I fixed it and within minutes he had broken the zipper again I fixed it. With in minutes Big Boy had chewed through the mesh material. I threw Big Boy and the tunnel in the RV were he continued to play in the tunnel. Running up and down rolling it over. Great play toy, just wasn't strong enough to keep him in.
Bought this tunnel for a safe outside place for foster kittens. Fits 3-4 rambunctious kittens at one time with room for running and tumbling and napping. At night, I put blankets inside and attach the open end to the inside gate of a crate where they can get snacks, water, and a litter pan. Fits under my porch table where they zonk out and go to sleep. Keeps them safe and comfortable.
I'm surprised this item doesn't have more 5 star reviews. All together we have purchased 2 tents and 5 tubes from Outback Jack. We have found that we can easily pull the tube into the doggy door that leads to our backdoor and the cats can come in and out as they please, and each night we remove the tube and close the doggy door. It is a great system that allows our 2 kitty cats to enjoy the bugs and birds outside while staying safe. Truly couldn't recommend this product more!
We have the Jackson Galaxy tunnel and have used that for two generations of cats. They love it but it's short and the larger cats have trouble going through it during chases. We got this one to solve that problem. It's definitely larger, and maybe a bit too large. The cats walk or run through it and not sure they get the same level of excitement as they would if it was shorter. It's less of an adventure. But on the other hand the taller cat doesn't get stuck in it. Overall a great product.
my cat's and dog love's it thy can go out on the porch and come inside when ready
My cat loves this and always wants to be outside watching the birds highly recommend
Bought this to attach to our Outback Jack Happy Habitat Tent! And our cats LOVE it!! We live in an apartment, and so our set up allows the cats to come in and out through the tunnel as much as they want, and they love the freedom and autonomy it gives them! Great quality product!
