Not invincible, not worth the money...
I had purchased the 6 squeaker size, which was recevied about 1 - 1.5 hours ago. I was hoping this would last longer, a lot longer, but don't waste your money. The company, Outward Hound, claims the following: It's durable and reinforced for superior chew resistance and the squeakers are made to keep squeaking, even if punctured. In the UNLIKELY event that your dog does get through the fabric, there's no stuffing. All of these claims are false. If it was durable, I don't think super chewers would get through it so quickly if it has superior chew resistance, the squeakers have been punctured and DO NOT work, and my dog DID get through the fabric.
Favorite toy alert!
Shadow (GSD mix) has been obsessed with this toy for a year. He brings it around with him everywhere. It is just now showing signs of wear after many games of tug of war, tossing, and gingerly chewing. I would love to see his reaction to the 70 in version. For now though I have tucked away a second medium sized one so he will always have his favorite toy. I love that it has the plush feel while being very heavy duty with a canvass type fabric lining the seams and a thick poly material on the body.
Not quite invincible
I ordered the 3 squeaker first and then, because it made it through the first month, I ordered the 6 squeaker. Neither of them made it through the next month. The squeakers were removed one by one and, once my shepherd realized the balck side stitching went the length of the snake, it became like a zipper to her. When I took away the squeaker she just ripped the side stitching down to the next one. Also, those squeaker are the perfect size to block a dog's throat when loose so she had to be supervised when playing with this toy. My hound loved it, didn't tear it up and was sad when it was gone. So the dogs love it, but a big chewer will have it destroyed fairly quickly.
Better than expected!
It's super durable, and that's really saying something with this dog. She's not vicious in a mean way but boy, she takes her play serious. She can literally drag me around with this thing and it's not gotten threadbare at all, the squeakers are still (to her, not me) great. Out of the probably 12-15 toys I've gotten her since I rescued her, this is easily the best. She absolutely loves it.
Puppy loves this!!!
My Shorty Jack puppy loves this. I thought it was too big, but......not in my puppy's mind. This is a favorite. Also - for a plush toy, it stays amazingly clean. It goes outside and comes back in looking great - meaning it does not carry dirt and debris back in the house. It's a fetch toy, a chew toy, and a cuddle toy. And the squeakers are wonderful quality.
Thor’s new favorite toy
I bought the 70 inch snake for my 175lb XL Bully, and he is in heaven. It was so much bigger then I thought it would be, because i apparently don’t know measurements..lol. Thor is a very aggressive chewer, so far we have not had a single toy that lasts longer then 2 hours, but this one is going great so far! This was a great buy!!
Finally, a durable squeaky toy!!!!
I think the record for how long a squeaky toy squeaked in my house was maybe 30 minutes. Most are done in about 5 between my two monsters. I have a calculating German Shepherd who reverse engineers toys with such precision she kinda scares me. I also have the happiest pibble on the planet that gets sooo excited about his toys he just can’t even. Now that the stage is set, in comes yet another toy boasting durability. Yeah, sure, we’ll see about that. Words have been eaten, folks! It’s been a week and good ol’ snek is still alive and kickin. The stitching is high quality and we still have squeaks! I’ll never purchase another brand of squeaky ever again, we have found the holy grail.
revenge toy
I bought this toy (well toy of them) for my sisters dog after she sent my cat a bunch of crinkle toys that she likes to chase all over the house in the middle of the night. safe to say it was an absolute hit! Her dog loves them and the squeaker is loud and very durable! Glad to be of service!
It's a Tremendous Waste Of Money
This item lasted my 7-month Doberman approximately 15 minutes total. She had started ripping it apart in 2-minutes and we had to take it off of her in 15. I have no idea how they have the audacity to call it "Invincible"!!!!
Invincible for 20lb pup
My dog has managed to break every "unbreakable" squeaker except for this one. She's had it for three months and plays with it all the time and not a single squeaker is broken. She makes sure to test all 6 every time I have an important work call. If you have a small dog that doesn't shred toys, your pup will love this.
