What is the ring made out of to keep it open?

The Oxbow Enriched Life Cozy Cave Small Pet Hideouts are made of fleece and the ring is made of bamboo. They are safe to be washed either by hand or in a washing machine.
Would this be good for ferrets

Which size would be better for a hamster?

The Small hideout measures 5.9 inches in diameter by 9.8 inches long and the Large hideout measures 7.8 inches in diameter by 11.8 inches long. While either size could be used for a hamster the Small size would be better suited to them.

OMG They love it

Just ordered this for my 2 Guinea pig. They were curious as to what it was so what I did was I put each of them in the sack one at a time just so they can realize what it is. I tried my Zoey out first and she got the idea real quick and then I put my GiGi in after I took Zoey out put her in and I just placed the sack in their cage and next thing you know they were running in and out and popcorning all over the place. I immediately placed an order for another one.

I’m a New Guinea pig owner and I definitely recommend this for your furry pet… mines haven’t gotten use to me yet but he’s getting there… I picked him up and put him in this pouch and curled up n went straight to sleep… This is also my first time ordering from chewy and I’m never leaving…I ordered 1 large pouch and received 6…

Give it a minute!

My guinea pigs were not sure about these at first and wouldn't get near them. But after a month or so, and putting them inside of them to teach them that they can be beds, etc....they go to them instantly now. The small size fits them perfectly! It's so nice to see my 2 girls resting side by side in their own cave. And though they pee in them, these caves keep them much dryer than others that have fluffy fur in them. Highly recommend! Ordering more! And they wash out great! No smells!

Too small for my guinea pigs

I swear this was supposed to b large. So I grabbed 2 (3rd one free). I have a 1 year old Abyssinian and a 10 month old American...BOTH don't fit and they been sleeping beside it...its more to the rats...unless my babies are overweight 😬 Gave it a 5 star anyways...☺️

Floor saver

I actually use these underneath a disposable pee pad. The disposable gives my dog a “target” and the washable one catches the inevitable misses. Our dog is currently on a high dose of prednisone for an autoimmune disorder and she just inhales water and of course pees it out. Thankfully she will use the pee pads between trips outside. I’ve had to wash these a lot and they are holding up well, although they do seem to be as waterproof after many washes. I’m buying another set to go underneath these for double protection of my wood floors.

Oxbow Cozy Cave

My squirrel absolutely loves her Cozy Cave. She keeps snuggly warm inside it. It washes well and gives her plenty of room to snuggle and move around inside. I love that she feels safe and comfy inside of It. I recommend this Cozy Cave to others and I WILL definitely buy more! I am very satisfied.

Not a favorite

My Guinea girls won’t go near this. It’s really cute and soft so I’m not sure why. Ty dyed color is great and it’s well made.

if it fits

I bought this because I knew my bunny would love it but she’s just to big apparently. She’s a regular sized bunny. I have found thAt anything sized for “small pets” for bunnies runs small. I have to buy the largest size possible and it usually isn’t big enough still. She’ll still play with it some, move it around, look for treats, but she can’t fit into it. Probably good for a Guinea pig or dwarf rabbit
