Can I feed my guinea pig this alone? Will this wear down its teeth like normal Timothy hay?

Hay should make up at least 75% of your pet's diet, and should be available for them to eat and forage in at all times.

Can these be given sparingly to a young rabbit who has not reached adult age yet? Like 3 months of age?

Birds and Guinea pigs approved

My old herd of female piggies didn’t like these but I bought them for my birds this time and ran out of hay for my piggies so I gave these to the boys and they loved

It's so easy to use and no extra pieces of hay all over. But most importantly the piggies love it. They like pulling it apart and sometimes drag it over to another

Normally a Good Product

I have been ordering the Oxbow hays and grasses for my 2 Guinea pigs for years now and have been completely happy with the quality up until this particular box of

I have been ordering the Oxbow hays and grasses for my 2 Guinea pigs for years now and have been completely happy with the quality up until this particular box of compressed hay. The problem for me with this one box is that every single disk seems to fall apart without holding together. I usually run a thin chew proof metal wire through the middle of each disk and then have it hang from the top of the cage to allow the to cavies to have a bit of stimulation in thier hay and grass consumption but have been unable to with this aparticular box for whatever reason. First time it has happend to me in two years of using this product. One can still feed it to your pets but the whole idea of the compressed disk is then taken away. Probably just an outlier as almost all of Oxbows products seem to be about the best in thier particular field and I have also had my vet recommend Oxbow for Guinea Pig needs.
