My pets enjoy this food, but be careful about the packaging.

I usually buy Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food for my piggies as they enjoy it and it isn't overly expensive. However, for this recent order, the bag arrived

I usually buy Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food for my piggies as they enjoy it and it isn't overly expensive. However, for this recent order, the bag arrived with a two inch slash in the side that made some of the pellets fall out. I used duct tape to patch up the rip but I'm a bit concerned about the freshness of the pellets since they've been exposed to air earlier than I had intended (I still have 75% of my current bag of food remaining before I need to open the new bag). Not sure if this was an error made during shipping or the bag just needs to be made of slightly thicker material. I recommend this item in general, but this particular bag may not be as fresh as the item usually seem to be.

He loves it and doesn't waste a lot like he used to with the mixed stuff, always wasting the stuff he didn't like this he eats the whole dish.
