  • Great Bedding!

    By on

I've been trying different kids of bedding that are available on Chewy for my guinea pig. So far very pleased with this particular kind. Easy clean up ( can see where it's messy but only if you look close, so overall cage does not look dirty. And I haven't smelled my guinea pig that much as with other Kaytee bedding types, however I've had it in there only for couple of days so far after complete clean up. Also size and price is a big deal to me because I have a very large cage for my piggy and I go through 50-60 litter packages within two weeks easy! So I'm hoping this size package will last longer ( I mix it with natural kytee bedding) so I have two mega packages. • Great material

I like this better than the Oxbow bedding I tried! I felt like it absorbed the smell better. It's a little tricky to break up, but it's not like it's hard as a rock. I think this will be my new go-to bedding choice from now on.

  • Glorified Toilet paper

    By on

I wanted to try a new bedding for our lionhead rabbit and thought this one looked perfect. It's basically toilet paper shredded. The minute it got wet, it became soggy and a mess. The bedding was everywhere and just horrible. We quickly switched back to our old bedding!

  • Even The "Bad" Batches are Decent

    By on

With big companies like Kaytee, who produce millions of bags of bedding every month, you're obviously going to get some "bad" bags once in a while. It's become more common now, but in all honesty the bedding still isn't that bad. They're a bit more like fluffy-ish shredded paper, and they have little odor control. However litter training your baby helps a lot with the odor, and you won't need to replace the bedding so often. It's quite easy to train animals like hamsters- simply start buying them litter or chinchilla sand (not the chinchilla dust though, it's terrible for their lungs) and put it in a small dish or litter tray. Training Piggies, Ratties, and bunnies can be just as easy. • Soft comfy bedding!

    By on

I have always received the fluffiest bedding from these bags. It is perfect for burrowing hamsters or those who like to make tunnels. There is little to no smell after a week or two of being used it the cage. On rare occasions, there can be small pieces of other colored bedding (red, blue, atc.) or pieces of another bag. You can easily pick these out though. All in all, I love this bedding.

  • Weird textured bedding.

    By on

I always order multiple bags of this particular bedding for my senior rabbit. It's great and very soft. However, the last 2 bags that I ordered was of a very weird dusty, thin texture. It made me bunny sneeze constantly and didn't seem to absorb her urine. I was really disappointed. I just ordered another one, I haven't received it yet, hopefully this one will be better.

  • fantastic deal, perfect bedding

    By on

This is the only kind of bedding that works for my bunnies these days. Others tend to be too harsh, don't fluff up enough, or soak through too quickly. This particular Kaytee bedding lives up to the name 'clean & cozy' by keeping their bins clean, while still being soft and fluffy. I was so glad to see this added to Chewy - previously, we could only get it at one store locally, and it was a pain to come by most of the time. The size selection for this product on Chewy saves us a lot of hassle, and is exactly what we've been needing for our little bunny friends.

  • BEST LITTER EVER!!!

    By on

Wow. I have a Holland Lop bunny who is 100% litter trained and loves being in her litter box lol. I've tried other natural litters and pellets -- but there would always be a smell when she went to the bathroom. This litter is SO absorbent and hides the smell SO well. I'll never buy any other litter!
