  • Not great quality

    By on

I have bought this type of hay in stores before (although not the wafer cut) and have had no problems. I just started doing a monthly order with this item included and was not happy with the quality. My bunny doesn’t like the taste and it looks like someone just picked up dirty little pieces of hay, dried them and put them in a bag. There are dried leaves in there and I have found multiple pebbles. The hay is also more brown than hay I have bought in the past. This was my first time ordering online so it is possible it was just the one I received. Either way, I have thrown the rest out and will no longer be ordering this item from Chewy but instead will go back to buying in stores.

  • Twinkle and Bell love this hay

    By on

I have tried several different Timothy Hays and this is the only one my guinea pigs love. As soon as I put it in their cage, they start eating it and before I know it, it is gone. I would highly recommend this to any small animal that can eat this hay.

  • Fussy Bunnies

I love this timothy hay. My two angora bunnies will not eat the little pieces of hay in the regular cut. The wafer cut ensures that all of the hay will be eaten and not fall to the bottom of the bowl or cage.

  • Bunch Of Brown Dead Hay

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Their was a lot of brown dead hay i had to toss out in both bags so not a one bag issue which was sad i had to throw about half the bag out. Do not understand why so much was bad other brands i have gotten have never been this bad. I got about one bag of hay from two i bought due to all the dead unusable hay. :(

i got this hay for my pigs and it was extremely dusty and powdery throughout, truthfully there was about 60% dust 40% hay. i wound up just throwing it out because it was concerning to me for URI risks.

  • Great product

I have not been able to find this chopped timothy hay anywhere locally. It also seems fresher than any I've purchased locally. My Sulcata tortoise readily gobbles it up!

  • Disappointed

    By on

I know that Chewy just handles the sell of merchandise and at times I don't like what I buy. This time the hay had too much hard stalks that my Guinea pigs don't eat.

    By on

We buy the Biggest Box of Timothy Hay for our 2 Rabbits, not only do they Love the Hay,but we cut doorways on each end of this Hugh Box and they have Demolition Days for 2 Weeks, they are on screened and lattuce porch, and make a mess with all the torn up cardboard, they dont eat it,they just shred it and keeps them Busy! Coco is a neitherland dwarf shes 8 years old and Tippy is a Giant New Holland, who is 6 years old and a Big Baby, they are both fixed of course! I wish someone would come up with Better Med.Sized Corner Litter Boxes,i have to tie my L box with bread ties to the cage at nite, the Ware litter box clips are a Joke for rabbits.
