Kaytee brand NOT recommended for guinea pigs
By TheProfessor on Jan 21, 2021
For some reason this Kaytee brand does not compare to OXBOW brand quality. Timothy Hay should never be brown with huge strawy pieces like that lower quality often found in Kaytee. Order Oxbow Timothy Hay (any Oxbow products really) and compare the color and high quality. You’ll see how green and fresh it’ll be! Once you go Oxbow, you won’t go back, just saying. Your pet babies deserve nothing but the freshest and finest food. Im so glad I switched!

Jackie loves this brand and chews it with gusto. I like that the hay is compact and bundled. And that makes it easy to handle.

Good Timothy Hay
By LEDB on Oct 13, 2020
^ almost sounds like a sequel to Good Will Hunting... anyway, I really like the way this hay is packed - you get quite a bit but you don't have to fight to get it out of the bag like with other cuts. My piggies seem to like it too - goes much faster than the last stuff I got.

Good quality hay but not quite wafer cut
By Flopsy on Nov 7, 2020
Our rabbit Flopsy loves Kaytee Timothy Hay but the cut of our bag was not quite wafer. Extremely long pieces of hay which are hard to pull apart. The hay was of good quality and very fresh.
