I bought this device based on its name, features, and strong reviews. It’s worked wonderfully in the two weeks I have had it. I use the variable setting, which activates the ultrasonic sound only when my dog barks and stops as soon as she does. I only need to use it inside. Her barking has improved noticeably because when the device is off, she self-regulates when she remembers the sound her bark causes. She is a dog afterall, and barking is her job, just not for hours. This device has been the perfect solution for us, especially since she’s sensitive to sound and sudden movement. It’s unobtrusive and small enough to fit in my hand. The handle is perfect to grab with my fingers to quickly reposition it when needed. I let her sniff the device after turning it off as a kind of positive reinforcement. I highly recommend this product.

I have a dachshund/lab mix puppy. He has bad separation anxiety so I couldn't leave my apartment without him barking, whining, crying loudly. So I'd have to take him EVERYWHERE with me. I felt like a prisoner almost because my husband and I couldn't go in places together, one of us had to stay in the car with him. After vibrating collars etc I found this. I put the camera on him and set this by his kennel. It was a miracle, I couldn't believe it. He went to whine and the box lit up and his ears parked and he put his head down and went to sleep. That's all she wrote! I can go to work or the store now and not worry about him disturbing my neighbors!

I’ve been using this for about a week now and it has made no difference at all. It is being used indoors and I have tried all of the different settings. The light goes on when the dog barks but it has had zero effect on his behavior. Do not recommend.

home or away...works great

When we travel, our pups tag along. if we have to go out for a short time, I worry that our one of the three will disturb other guest in the hotel. I purchased this Ultrasonic dog barker and love the results. I place it by the hotel door and once the door is closed, I hear one bark (actually they all bark because we left), then total silence. They are also learning that when it is placed by the door, the pups remain silent. Great product!!
