My collar and remote work fine on tone and vibration but it doesn’t work on shock What could be the problem?
Is the collar just for barking

This electric dog collar comes with a remote control that both professional trainers and first time pet parents can use. You can adjust between 16 levels of stimulation in vibrations, shocks, or beeps to help train your pooch in barking, walking, sitting, and more.
Can I remove the shocking posts to disable the shocking? I prefer not to use the shocking part

The posts are not removeable. We recommend the PATPET P630 600M model which does not shock your pet.
Does this collar help with fear aggression?

If the dog is aggressive or psychologically sensitive, we strongly recommend not to use an electronic collar and consult a veterinarian.

Very pleased with ease and effectiveness!

I bought this after I returned one I was unhappy with (another brand) and I have been MORE than happy with this product! Came out of the box with a slight charge but still ended up charging fully once I read thru everything. I love that BOTH the collar and remote have an on/off switch so I can save battery life when not in use. Buttons are large and easy to maneuver. Also love the simplicity that there are only 16 levels of stimulation, I feel you really shouldn't need more than that. Tone sounds loudly and my dog has been responding just with the tone and SOME vibration. Love that this also comes with two collars, not that I've needed the second one but nice to have. Excellent product and responds when I need it to, which I've had problems in the past with other brands. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to train their dog to be "free" while outside.

Works well

Our 50-pound rescue doodle is extremely reactive to rabbits and other dogs when we’re walking. He also barks like a maniac when he’s in the house and hears a noise. So, far, this collar has been extremely helpful. He’s probably 65% less reactive on walks and about 80% quiet in the house. We can’t use the shock function because he has too much fur around his neck. But the tone and vibrate mostly keep him in check.

works great, but the strap isn’t.

We bought this a couple of months ago and honestly it was working great with our GS pup. We won’t had to go up about 5 levels never past that to get her to listen. The tone and vibration feature were great deterrents as well so that we could shock her the least bit possible when trying to reinforce her training. My only issue is that there is no extra loop or anything to hold the extra strap from the collar length so it just dangles. I tried tucking it back through the existing buckles but it was at that length where it would just fall out anytime we walked, played it did about anything with her. Just so happened that since this strap fell out and she was left alone at the house she was able to reach it to bite and eventually pull the collar off. She bit right through it and now I have to get a new one. I will be buying the same one but cutting the strap. Just hope she doesn’t grow much more since she is only 7 months old.

PATPET P680

This is a great training tool except we wish it came with two cords. We can't charge both at the same time. Ours only came with one and it looks like that was all it had. We bought a two collar one and it came with two cords. Both the remote and the collar need to charge.

Only half way works

I have this collar in the blue and black. I have two 70+ lab pups. The blue collar works fine, always gets the dogs attention. But the black collar only seems to work half of the time when I use the shock option. If I bought this again I’d get another blue one.

Worked for only a month

Yep...I turn both the remote and collar off after every use, but alas, it still didn't conserve the life of this product. Tried charging every other day but the stim still won't work. Troubleshooting this this and making sure the collar paired to the right number (since you can have 2 paired at the same time, just switch between the two on the controller) but still dead. Dissatisfied with this collar. Guess I'll just save up and hope an e-collar with bigger price tag will work and last beyond what this one did.

Works well!

This is a great unit to help train your dog, especially with property boundaries. We only need to use the vibrate option and our pit bull gets the cue with ease. I think this collar is worth the investment. Note: You do have to charge both the remote & collar regularly.

WORKED GREAT UNTIL IT DIDN'T (AND THAT WAS PRETTY QUICK)

I haven't even had this product for 2 months and it's already dead. It appears to be charging but none of the functions are working (beep, vibrate, static - all non-functional). I only got a few training sessions and battery charges out of the unit before it was dead and useless. I am extremely disappointed in what I, at first, thought was a very nice, easy to use product with good battery life. Now training my new puppy has a hiccup in its giddyup because of equipment failure. I really wouldn't recommend purchasing this product.

So far...so good

We purchased this to help train our dog with being reactive to other dogs while on walks and when dogs walk past our house. We have only used the tone and vibrate functions. Both have worked very well to distract the dog and have her focus her attention on us, for which she gets rewarded with a treat. The order included a Patpet NFC dog tag, which was unexpected but a nice bonus. Once we registered the tag, a QR code scan of the tag gives information about the dog and how to contact us. 4 out of 5 stars because it is too early to know how well this will hold up over time.

Great Purchase

We ordered this for our heeler who had some behavior issues we wanted to correct. I was on the fence because some reviews were so so. It has worked wonders for him and us. It’s actually water proof, and literally holds a charge for WEEKS! Only thing I would say is it was a little big so the size chart may be slightly off. We were able to adjust it and snip off the extra length. If you’re looking for a really good collar for training, this is it!
