I have a pile of these. They wash well with pretreatment but are not stain resistant. I recently got two new ones and washed them with some regular clothes and they picked up color. DO NOT WASH WITH JEANS even old ones. I even used cold water. The stains do not come out. The binding shrinks at a different rate than everything. The labels hold stains so have to really pretreat them. They work great for brushing off hay. The colors are odd in pink and green so they do not go with everything pink or green if you have themes. The blue is beautiful and gray is sophisticated not drab. Be careful with pink. For the price, I expected them to last longer.
I bought a blue and a gray set, and have used them about 4 times now with 2 male guinea pigs in a divided cage. The liners serve as a 'kitchen' area that gets high-use. I've been needing something to replace the washable dog pee pads I've used for a couple years. I'll start with the good: 1. The liners do what they claim. They are super easy to clean. Big chunks of hay come off easily. I finish up the crumbs and bits by sweeping them off. It it a very quick process - a few swipes of the broom and you're done. 2. They last longer than the washable dog pee pads I am using. These can last a day or two before they need to be changed, and they don't feel soaked with pee when it's time to change. 3. This one is both good and bad. They are not as soft and cushy as the pictures lead you to believe, but they still seem comfy and soft. They aren't cheap, paper-thin liners, but for the price and by the pics, I expected some padded comfort. The pigs like to sleep on them and they don't seem to have any objections. And onto the bad or mildly annoying depending on your take. 1. The backing doesn't seem to be waterproof as claimed. When I remove these to change out, the back feel damp. I'm not seeing any wet spots yet, but they're noticeably damp compared to other liners w/ waterproof backs. 2. I've only had them a few weeks, and they're already stained from the calcium in my boys' pee. At least that's what I'm assuming the white spots on the liners is, as that's exactly what it looks like. 3. They claim to dry fast. Now these are definitely dryer than the washable dog pee pads I've been using, but they still feel damp on top. Overall I do like these, and intend to continue using them. I will probably buy more. They do the job but I don't like everything about them. For someone needing a high-traffic or kitchen solution like me, they do a decent job compared to other liners. The ease of cleaning is definitely a big plus.
So I got these on a Monday and put them in and the next day my Guinea pig was basically walking in urine it was gross:/ they didn’t absorb very well it was horrible. Others may have had luck but we didn’t :(
Really happy with my recent purchase. First, the color is great! Really vibrant and pretty. I recently bought a critter box for my midwest cage and I am using these pads to add a little extra coverage. They are super helpful as I don't have to take everything out and wash it all at once, I can just change the Cage Liners when they get dirty. So far it's pretty conveniant just to wash the liners instead of everything all at one time!
We recently changed from bedding to Paw Inspired Cage Liners. We also use the Paw Inspired Critter Box. They are awesome! Definitely worth it, but I prefer the whole-cage PopCorner Cage Liners, because these overlap each other.
