The toy is fairly heavy and feels durable. It comes with a divider to slow the food from dispensing and two food compartments to use for frozen treats. I put dry kibble and treats in the bottom portion of the toy, put on the divider and gave to my mini schnauzer. It took her a bit to figure out she had to roll it. But, once she did, she was rolling it all over everywhere, including under tables and some chairs. She seemed to enjoy it, and it kept her busy for a few minutes. If you don't mind the toy getting under things as it is rolled around, it is great. It is also nice that it is washable and it says it is BPA free. It is recommended for small dogs, and I agree as larger dogs can ruin it if they are big chewers. I didn't try freezing something in the food container yet, but will try it when the weather is warmer.

Purchased this for our 35lb dog - she was interested not only in rolling it but picking it up to move around the house. Unfortunately, the hole in the top was just the right size for her to fit her bottom teeth/jaw into and get stuck. Thankfully, she was using it under our supervision and we quickly were able to get it off (with some pulling and discomfort on her side). It caused quite the scare in our house. For that reason, I cannot recommend this product. After this scenario, I came back on to see that hidden in the specifications it says "small breeds only" yet all of the product images are of mid-size or larger dogs not dissimilar to our dog. Very misleading and dangerous.

Absolutely love this toy and so does my border collie! This is a great toy to keep dogs entertained and slow down eating. My dog Oli loves this toy and gets so excited

Absolutely love this toy and so does my border collie! This is a great toy to keep dogs entertained and slow down eating. My dog Oli loves this toy and gets so excited when I get it out to fill it. He got the concept really quickly and now knows exactly what to do to get treats out. The material is hardy and withstands rough play, he usually destroys his toys so this is one that will actually last! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a well made toy to keep their pups busy.

My dogs had hours of fun playing with this PawsPik rolling treat dispenser. I filled it up with 2 different kinds of kibble. My 2 dogs rolled it around the floor picking up the kibble pieces as they came out. It kept my dogs entertained. I haven't tried the frozen lick treat section of it yet, but I bet it will be enjoyable to them. I am going to buy another PawsPik toy so that both dogs can have their own.

Our shelties chew up Every. Single. Toy. And the ones that are made of indestructible material are of no interest to them. Gave this one a shot - pop some treats inside or some frozen peanut butter yogurt in the cup provided, seal on the top of the ball and let the fun begin. You can see in the photo that after half hour of chewing and going after the snacks inside, the toy is still standing. I will be buying a second one so each pup can have their own!

So, my dog Theo loves this treat dispenser. Maybe a little too much? I want to love it too. It comes with molds to place in the freezer with the usual freezable treat recipes. I think the molds are a nice touch, instead of having to freeze the entire treat dispenser. That said, my dog is a super chewer, and this has not held up to his chewing in just one session. If your dog does not chew and is not a resource guarder, try it out! It may work great for you. For us, it will be occasional use only.

I’m pleasantly surprised with this enrichment toy! I really like how the pieces come together and apart for proper washing. The plastic is sturdy and while being labeled as small, I felt like it was perfect for my large husky mix. I used it as a treat dispenser and not for a frozen treat as it is a bit chilly where we are. I also felt like it was really easy to set up and wash once we were done. Some other enrichment toys can be messy and discourage me from using because of the clean up. I am certain I will be reaching for this often.

This treat ball is a great size for our 45 pound border collie. He can carry it, drop it, roll it and enjoy small dry treats that fall out. But the frozen feature is virtually impossible for him to enjoy. The space between the opening and the frozen treat is too far for his tongue to comfortably reach, making it frustrating and dangerous. I strive to give him challenging enrichment. But this poor design sets him up for failure. We only use it as a dry treat toy. The material is durable. It opens easily. And remains closed tightly when he is playing with it. The bright orange color makes is easy to spot among his collection of toys. He appreciates it but it is only used for half is its intended purpose.

I absolutely love this toy! When I opened it I couldn’t believe the quality and how well made it is. It has some weight to it, and the material feels like a safe well made product. The toy has multiple uses. I like to use it for frozen treats. It comes with two cups to freeze so you can have one freezing while the other is in the ball. Works well for kibble as well. Material feels as if it’ll clean teeth too.

My dogs loved it, whether it was knocking it around to get the treats inside, or using the inserts with a frozen treat inside. However, I wouldn't leave the dog unattended with it. I also discouraged them from chewing on it since I don't want them to think that they can chew anything I give them.
