My cats love laser pointers or any toy that moves. I loved the idea of a laser pointer toy that works on its own and has a timer to keep my boys out of trouble while I’m gone. However, the sound of the motor is far more attention grabbing than the laser itself. They followed the laser for a couple minutes before that was no longer the most entertaining part. I kept finding my cats staring straight into the eye of the machine, wondering what all the noise was. I can’t tell if my cats are too smart or not whimsical enough to enjoy this toy. If it had a quieter motor, I’m sure they’d find it much more immersive.

My cats and our dog love it! Daisy, our Doberman, loves it. It’s very helpful given that she doesn’t get outside much in the winter. I love that it doesn’t need to be plugged in. My only piece of constructive criticism is that it would be better it was usb-c. It is micro-usb so I had to keep the cord that came with it. But even that isn’t enough to knock it down from a 5/5.

Laser toy that has can turn itself off

My cat gets more exercise with this toy as the red beam shoots out across the room then closer to the unit. I keep it on the floor and have it set to shut off 10

My cat gets more exercise with this toy as the red beam shoots out across the room then closer to the unit. I keep it on the floor and have it set to shut off 10 minutes after I turn it on, (the top setting). Charge it before using it, it comes with a short cord. You'll need to provide the adapter to plug into the outlet. The instructions could have been more thorough, I had to read the reviews because I couldn't get it to work when I first turned it on. The unit is a lot smaller than the picture.

Clancy is a very vocal high energy cat who was always demanding that I play with him. He loved this toy immediately and so did his sister Gracie, our 70 lb Airedale. Now, she’s the smart one and has figured out precisely when that little red light is going to come back on. It’s hilarious to see her sitting and waiting for it within a minute or two before the scheduled 2 hours. Needless to say, I don’t hear that vocal demanding meowing anymore. It was worth it for our household.

This holds both pets' interest for a long period of time. It's fairly small and doesn't take up a lot of room and it's easy to operate. Highly recommend it!

Our cats (and dog) loved the Interactive Laser! I set them up in a room and it kept them entertained for the full 10 minutes. There are different settings (which is perfect for when we are gone longer). It's rechargeable, so no worries about batteries. I do wish there was a setting that changed the speed of the movement of the laser. Sometimes it moves too fast, but it was still loads of fun!
