2 Customer Questions
Are the meal worms safe for blue birds.
Answer by • Jan 31, 2020
Mealworms offer molting birds an excellent source of protein. Bluebirds will eat the following offerings at feeders: mealworms, suet dough, fruit, and sunflower bits.
Where are these sourced from?
Answer by • Mar 23, 2020
These dried insects are sourced from China. All ingredients are carefully examined, tested, and packaged in one of their two processing facilities (Fargo, ND and Lubbock, TX) to help ensure the quality of every Pecking Order product. The manufacturer has obtained SQF (safe quality food) certification which is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
