So far this has been a satisfactory purchase. I love the window to indicate if I need to add more water. My cats use both the dish or the spout. The dishes walls

So far this has been a satisfactory purchase. I love the window to indicate if I need to add more water. My cats use both the dish or the spout. The dishes walls are so low that I am assured no whisker fatigue and the spout adds one more choice of drinking. Other fountains just came with a sponge feature for the filter this comes with a carbon filter, as the humans we fill more assured their water tastes good, safe to drink and that they are happier and well hydrated for a cat the favors dry food.

Defective

The pump didn't work out of the box and there is zero information on troubleshooting provided. I had to use chatgpt for help trying to figure out the problem. But

Ugh was disappointed. Needed a new fountain and this started ok but the water flow was quite slow and only seemed to slow down for unclear reasons snd then basically
