Impossible to clean pieces.

I wanted a new fountain for my pet that was either metal or ceramic, easier to clean, and didn’t have an open water reservoir that my cat would play in. My cat really liked this fountain, but unfortunately the many plastic pieces inside, especially the motor, are very difficult to clean, with so many crevices and open spots. That’s fine, I can deal with scrubbing them all, but there is one piece that there is no way to clean. The rubber bit that holds the water spout cannot be disassembled, so you can physically see the mold growing and cannot get to it. I’ve even taken pliers to it to try and remove it to clean.

Sturdy, affordable, and easy

I love this cat tree so much and so do my babies! I was able to put this together by myself in a little over an hour. The instructions are a bit vague at times,

I love this cat tree so much and so do my babies! I was able to put this together by myself in a little over an hour. The instructions are a bit vague at times, but with some trial and error it comes together! The one downside I had was the scratching rope is very rough and uncomfortable - it jabbed my hands a few times during assembly. If you have good gloves I'd recommend wearing them for those steps!

The cats love to drink out of the spout, running water, however, I’m having to thoroughly clean it every two days and the pump won’t clean. I’ll spend quite a bit

The cats love to drink out of the spout, running water, however, I’m having to thoroughly clean it every two days and the pump won’t clean. I’ll spend quite a bit of time cleaning it and go plug it up and more junk comes out of the pump and I have to clean it again. It gets really slimy after two days! The charcoal in the filter is really small and it seems inadequate to truly filter! I’ve had filter fountains before and they cleaned much better!

Bought this for our one cat that will only drink out of a running faucet and he can get really bossy about it at times, turns out my other cat and dog also love it. I like it as well since it's really easy to fill and clean. I was worried it would be a big task, but it's really simple and I'm impressed by how much my animals seem to like it. Not noisy, really just a quiet water trickling sound. So far, we are happy with it.
