Is this made of resin? Will the paint ever chip off? Are there any sharp edges? And what are the approximate dimensions of this figure? I would love a new Mermaid figure to go with Bluestar (3 yr old female Betta mascot) and her 22 yr old "vintage", custom-made Mermaid figure as well. Thanks!

This ornament is made of high-quality resin that is non-toxic and measures approximately 3.85 x 3.75 x 3.75 inches.
i have a 10 gallon tank. is this too small for my tank? what size decorations is a correct fit for my tank? would a medium size be too big? can you please give me the correct measurements in numbers that i can understand? thank you. oh yes i already have a few deco in the tank.

At it's outermost edges, this ornament measures about 3.85 inches long by 3.75 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall. To determine if it will be a good addition to your tank, we suggest you consider the open space available, what type of fish and how many pets you have in your tank.

As long as your Betta, or other fish has a clear space at the base of their tank or bowl that measures at least 3.85 x 3.75 inches, than this ornament should make a wonderful addition to your tank.

Cute, but paint is coming off

The mermaid and dolphin are extremely cute and I love them in my tank. But, I just noticed that the paint is coming off of the dolphin.

not a good product

Do the buy this the paint came right off and was in the water with my fish had to drain and clean my tank completely to get it all out!

Gorgeous Mermaid!

Beautiful aquarium decoration! This little mermaid is very life like and I actually sat it next to my Betta tank instead of inside. I felt it was a little too rough for his delicate fins. But ... I like it so much I may just get another one for my other aquarium or use it as a nic-nac.

Mermaid and dolphin

Adorable addition to my 3 gallon tropical fish tank. Very well made and painted to perfection. The fish love her too...
