First, this review is in no way a comment about Chewy. They did not make this feeder, they just sell it. We mounted this feeder onto a heavy post because it seemed pretty flimsy when it arrived. We have taken good care of it. Should have just sent it back. It has already fallen apart less than five months after purchase. First, one of the suet cake holders just fell off - apparently only held on by two tiny thin staples that are not even as strong as a paper clip. Then the whole one side collapse outwards and the plexiglass pieces fell out. We will be buying a handmade, actually sturdy feeder from Etsy. You get what you pay for and this feeder is not even worth what we paid for it. Stay away.

Unfortunately because the bird feeder was so poorly packaged and was cracked in numerous places I can’t accurately review the quality of the product. I did repair with wood glue but consequently will not order anything from chewy again because I suspect this is an issue that plagues the entire country, you just can’t get good help. Not worth the time or energy to submit a return for damages.

Well made

Easy to fill. We'll made. Seeds come out of openings with ease and theres plenty of room for birds eating seeds and birds eating suet.

THIS IS THE SECOND ONE of this style. The hanging wire is poorly attached with staples. Should the a screw in loop with wire wrapped around or a different type of hanger. Both broke when they fell (one was from Chewy) the other one from a local farm store. Went to a different style now.

Well, the birds should be excited about this feeder. My old one had lost a piece of the plastic, so even a large dove could fit in there.....and they usually gobbled everything up so I had to fill it up every day. Now, many of the small birds are back enjoying it. This also helps keep the rain out so the seeds stay dry. When the cooler weather comes, then I'll also add in the suet cakes for them. Very happy with this!

This feeder had been up for a few weeks and I've filled it a few times. It's cute and hardy. It had been working super well. Until I just got home, and a bird had wiggled its way in, presumably through the bottom where the plastic meets, as it does lift out of the feeder. It overheated and passed away before I was able to save it :(
