I should have listened to the reviews that warned of how flimsy this gate is. My 19 pound dog chewed it into little bits that looked like cardboard in a few minutes
I should have listened to the reviews that warned of how flimsy this gate is. My 19 pound dog chewed it into little bits that looked like cardboard in a few minutes. She’s chewed actual wooden gates before, leaving some teeth marks which is fine. This is a whole other level of poor quality.
Easy to Setup
This works great for our small dog that we didn’t want getting downstairs. It’s super easy to setup, no installation! And looks great.

We have a huge gap between our kitchen and dining room. However, this freestanding gate fills in the gap and our dog is able to stay comfortably in the kitchen without getting into the rest of the house. We also didn't have to drill screws into walls. This was a good find for a fair price.

Our elderly deaf dog follows us up and down the stairs even if we are just running up to get something. Because she isn't that great with stairs, I place the gate

Works like a charm because it isn't attached and can be moved wherever. Sometimes I even use it to block the hallway to the front door if it has to be left open for some reason. Many uses!
Poorly made
The top broke off one of the panels and the slates fell out when I was moving it from one place in the house to another. Didn’t last very long before breaking.
