Is it rust proof

This can is made of stainless steel, which keeps the odor inside, and has an additional coating of weather and rust resistant material on the outside. We do recommend you keep the can covered from the elements if possible since it is rust resistant, not rustproof.

Does this seal tight enough to keep flies out of it?

How many gallons/liters is the large? And what size trash liner is recommended?

The small can has a 1.3 Gallon/5 Liter liner, and the large can has a 3.2 Gallon/12 Liter liner.

How tight is the lid to protect against the odor?

The lid fully closes over top of the bag and liner which keeps the smell inside. The replacing of bags when full keeps the smell from getting infused within the liner.

They were exactly what I wanted!

The "poop can" it cute and works perfectly. The "water station" is just the right compact size and is better than anything we've tried before.

This thing is so great. The bags store in the bottom of the can and so far there isnt any smell near the can. It seals well to keep rain out too. Also love that

Works Well

Was looking for a nice little trash can for the yard. I like that the bags load from the bottom so when I pull the full one out it essentially replaces itself

Not as heavy duty as I would've liked

Serves it's purpose, but seems cheap. Light weight. Bags slip down and don't stay up at lid. Bags should probably be a little longer so you can tuck them in place

Serves it's purpose, but seems cheap. Light weight. Bags slip down and don't stay up at lid. Bags should probably be a little longer so you can tuck them in place. Once you dump into bag, they want to pull down into the can. The pedal didn't work on arrival bc the piece that raises the lid had fallen off- doesn't like to stay in place. All around is cheap. Wish it were more heavy duty. Plastic tray at bottom is cheap and can is open at the bottom, not a fully enclosed can.

Cute but not functional

I purchased this waste pail because it was to be located on the backside of my patio and I wanted it to look nice and not smell. The product accomplishes both,

I purchased this waste pail because it was to be located on the backside of my patio and I wanted it to look nice and not smell. The product accomplishes both, but it’s the functionality that doesn’t work. First the opening is so small that the scooper doesn’t fit in and feces will spill onto the patio. Second, removing the bag is difficult and sometimes requires two hands resulting in the contents spilling out.

Good for storage, design is bad

This gets 3 stars because it does actually contain the smell because of the lid, the pedal-style opening works well, and it's stood up to several storms and not

This gets 3 stars because it does actually contain the smell because of the lid, the pedal-style opening works well, and it's stood up to several storms and not tipped or been compromised by water. But the actual design itself isn't great. The interior bucket has a handle to in theory be able to remove it from the overall trash can and carry it around to clean up the yard. Except the fact that the bags feed through the bottom means if you do that, it pulls up and unravels the whole roll or you have to rethread them every time. It's easier to just rip the bags apart and replenish individually. But also, the way the handle is attached to the inside rim of the bucket prevents you from being able to put the bag over the whole outside rim and still be able to use the handle. Either, you have to cover the handle to put the bag over the entire outside rim of the can, or you can't do that, which means it isn't fully secured and the bag will fall down in as you fill it. We're still going to use it since containing the poop smell was a top priority, but just figured I'd mention these logistical issues for other folks who might not think of it like we didn't.

Garbage can is garbage

I was really excited to get this and then after a few minutes of trying to figure out why the inner bucket didn’t fit I put the outside can on the counter and realized

I tried popping them back out but I was unsuccessful. So bummed that I can’t set this up today.

Perfect for outside

Our city requires dog waste to be double bagged, so this has been a perfect solution to keep outside until we are ready to add it to the large trash bag for garbage

Does the job!

It is large enough I have a small 8 lb dog so that I only need to empty is once a week. I keep it outside and, so far, the can has not rusted or lost its shine

It is large enough I have a small 8 lb dog so that I only need to empty is once a week. I keep it outside and, so far, the can has not rusted or lost its shine. Lastly, the lid of the can fits and operates very well keeping unwanted odors away. I am very happy with this product.
