Not what we needed

Because this powder thickens anything you mix it with, it was useless for us and requires so much more quantity that what is in the capsule. Just not a good fit

Great for cats with CKD

I've been using this supplement at the recommendation of my cat's vet for 2 years now, after my senior cat was diagnosed with stage 2 Kidney Disease. 2 years later,

I've been using this supplement at the recommendation of my cat's vet for 2 years now, after my senior cat was diagnosed with stage 2 Kidney Disease. 2 years later, my cat continues to be in stage 2. (CKD can't be reversed.) Recent bloodwork indicates that his kidney levels are exactly where they were 2 years ago. I believe this product is really helping to prevent his CKD from progressing. Highly recommend.

Shame on the manufacturer

They don't inform us how to administer this powder. You can't dump a scoop of powder down their throat because they could choke on it. I tried mixing in wet food

They don't inform us how to administer this powder. You can't dump a scoop of powder down their throat because they could choke on it. I tried mixing in wet food but because it congeals( another important detail they fail to tell us) it causes the food to become thick and gummy. I then tried adding a little water to the powder to form a gel ball, but the ball was too big for my cat to swallow. I have now misplaced the scoop, and nowhere can I find out what amount is in 1 scoop. Considering how expensive this product is, there is no excuse for such a lack of directions, suggestions or guidelines. Fortunately, Chewy gave me a refund. The greatest product has no value if it is too difficult to administer, or we have to grope on our own to figure it out!

Two scoops is a lot of dry powder!

I thought this would be an easier way to get an exact dose of the product but a lot of it ends up sticking to the bottom of the bowl. The pills are fine but difficult

I thought this would be an easier way to get an exact dose of the product but a lot of it ends up sticking to the bottom of the bowl. The pills are fine but difficult to administer. The paste in a tube is a messy inaccurate way to administer. The paste is very oily and lots of times it leaked all over the box even before it was open and used by me. I thought the powder would be the answer and it still may be but still trying to work things out.
