My cat really loved this food. She ate this every day. I noticed she began scratching a lot. She would scratch her neck and have scabs under her chin. She would also scratch her ears every day. I was very concerned and what was going on. I fed this food for months and months and months because she liked it so much. I was discussing this scratching problem one day with a friend. She told me that scratching neck and face and ears could be an allergic reaction to food. I began researching and found out that fish can cause allergies in cats. I was shocked. I always thought fish was really good for cats. I took her off this food for two weeks now and no scratching. Problem is I ordered a lot of this food and have 4 whole boxes of it that I can’t use. Can I get a return label and send it back? It’s not the company’s fault my cat is just allergic. She eats the Meow freeze dried chicken and freeze dried duck and no reactions. I am thankful. ~ Julia
My cat has feline herpes and it affects his ability to smell his food, and he was losing weight, so I tried this, and he is able to smell it and has been eating it and has gained weight! It's a really good product!
My cats would only eat a small portion of each pouch, then walk away. They like several other can food from this brand, but not the pouches.
My two cats both go crazy for this! It’s like they smell it from across the house and come running.
This has gone much like many other cat foods where it’s not the same as when I originally ordered it. My cats won’t eat it at all. The consistency is more liquidity and the mix is awful. There are several fish bones now which are soft but I could see why my cats would be deterred by it
My kitties love it! They love all of the Weruva flavors.
First, my most finicky eater loves this. She came to me at 5 yrs old and would only eat dry food. I tried all kinds of options. Finally found a better dry then kept searching for a wet. This one finally stuck and has become the gateway to other high quality wet foods. Second and this is awesome added bonus….This company also partners with a recycling company called Terracycle and I get a free envelope mailed to me (I order two at a time) to send back my rinsed pouches to be recycled. I love this and the food is a house top two foods for the cats.
Gross smelling, gross looking. Cat won't even sniff it.
When I first began ordering this about a year ago, there was more of a mix of mack, jack and salmon. The last cases I have received were more tuna than anything. My cat won't touch tuna, so basically had to give it all away. So beware if you have a very finicky cat.
I have purchased this brand before but not this flavor. The flavor sounded good for the cats but five cats and no one ate it. I have since donated the food
