Works find for what I wanted....thinning a schnauzer beard for in between grooming clean ups.
Just what I needed for a clean trim.

My puppy is still getting used to being groomed daily but this will help to give her a clean look without leaving edges or lines that you’d get with regular scissors. I just used it today and I really enjoyed how it looks afterwards and it is very sharp (I have the cuts to prove it!)
Nice thinning scissors

These scissors worked well on my Standard Poodle’s ears and head. Made brushing easier.

Short and skinny, they’re a blunt pair of scissors that couldn’t even cut paper. Don’t buy.
Excellent for the price

Poor quality, barely cut hair. I wish Chewy offered better options in grooming tools.

Bot these thinning shears for my elderly Pom. They work very nicely if you use them correctly and we’re a great price.
did not cut

when arrived i attempted to cut some of my Persian's hair...it hardly cut and all it did was tug (on a small amount of fur)
Definitely better than a normal shear

It’s easy to use. Even if you make a mistake, the final haircut will be good and natural. The tips are not sharp so it’s safe for both owners and dogs.

I just began grooming my dog myself. He's an 11 year old Shi-Poo, with double coat. I have a Wahl dog trimmer, a blunt scissor aside from the pair of scissors that came with the Wahl kit.
I tried to use this thinning scissor to untangle a knot to no avail. I had to resort to my 5-inch Conair PRO Dog Rounded-Tip Shears which is excellent in trimming and untangling knots particularly in sensitive areas. I still have to surf the web to find out how to use it :-)
