I got theses to thin out my longhair cats a little bit on the sides and belly where they clean and lick most to cut down on hair balls. They do a good enough job of it for the price. I will buy a heavier more professional pair though as these seem to becoming dull, only used scattered throughout the year.
I needed something to do touch-up trim on our Wheaten Terrier between grooming appointments. This was reasonably priced and does the trick especially on ears, face, bangs and other areas of fluffy furnishings! It does not leave sharp cut lines as a regular shear would do. I also like the blunted tips b/c less chance of doing serious damage to eyes & skin etc,. Just be careful to only clip small bits fur or the blades will clog up. Not a terrible problem...just takes a little longer to do the job!
My Persian cat tolerates the trimming of her booty very well with these scissors.
They're wonderful. They work beautifully, price was good and service fast. I'm very pleased.
Stella is the first cat we ever had with long hair. She’s beautiful and loves to be groomed but her hind quarters get matted and soiled from the litter box. She doesn’t like being combed down there so I thought I’d buy some grooming scissors. So far I’m very happy with them. They fit nicely in the hand and have rounded tips so you don’t stab anyone. I like that they thin the fur and not just cut it. That way she doesn’t look like a poodle. We are very pleased with how she looks and recommend these scissors.
I had other thinning shears before but they would not even cut the hair. So I decided to buy these and I love it. It blends well and cuts well.
Did their job well, doesn't hurt to grip and were sharp enough to get the job done.
These are awful. Don’t know what else to say. There not even ok. I groom all 4 of my doodles. I wanted another pair of thinning scissors to make their face not looked chopped. Normally a pair of thinning scissors would do this. Not these. I still absolutely adore chewy and this isn’t their fault but they really shouldn’t even sell these.
Very difficult to use choppy blades are not sharp sticks when using
Works find for what I wanted....thinning a schnauzer beard for in between grooming clean ups.
