Omgoodness!! Clay adheres to the tiny hairs lining the intestines and HARDENS, becoming a cement-like stop to peristolsis -- leading to severe future complications. I LOVE Chewy; not sure who is responsible for full disclosure of products sold, but Chewy PLEASE look into this point... Same with clay-based cat litter; altho some people swear their cats won't use anything else cats lick their paws, ingesting the clay, building up in the intestines-- very bad. Thank you

Works quickly!

Our dog has had loose stool for year. It was diagnosed as IBS. She is better on her prescription diet, but when she gets a bout of diarrhea, this takes care of it

This has been a great addition to our cabinet. Whenever one of the clowder is having digestive issues, one little scoop, mixed with a churu lickable and they chow it down! They have no issues eating it and it seems to fix diarrhea issues fast! This little container will last quite a while as a little goes a long way.

something finally helping

My poor cat has had loose stool or diarrhea his whole life (he's only 1). Antibiotics, prescription food, probiotic. The best it would be would be the consistency

My poor cat has had loose stool or diarrhea his whole life (he's only 1). Antibiotics, prescription food, probiotic. The best it would be would be the consistency of soft serve. The worse, diarrhea. Most times he'd use his box, sometimes not. He would kindly go on the puppy pad outside the box, but something had to give for the poor guy. Sadly, I have had this for several months and did not try it. Took it, and him, to my vet. We talked about trying hydrolized food and he said this was safe to try. My cat is only 8.5 pounds so I don't give him a full scoop. I give him maybe a quarter of the scoop that came with it. What a huge difference. He has not had an accident outside the box. I do not see poop smeared inside the box. Finally something that worked for my little guy.

Great for Antibiotic-Related Loose Stool

A lot of people in the reviews seem like they are giving this to their animals as a fix for non-chronic illness-related diarrhea. If your pet has acute diarrhea

A lot of people in the reviews seem like they are giving this to their animals as a fix for non-chronic illness-related diarrhea. If your pet has acute diarrhea of any kind that persists for more than 48 hours, take your pet to the vet. This is a not treatment or cure for acute illness. My cats were on a long course (3 weeks) of antibiotics for a parasite and the medication caused them to have diarrhea all the time. One was even having some bum leakage. I used this once a day for each cat and it helped them a lot. Their poop wasn't as liquid-y and the leakage stopped.

Not recommended by my vet

Unfortunately I cannot advise the product because my vet recommended I not use this for my cat. I unfortunately opened the jar and cannot return it. Vet recommended

It works !

One of my German Shepard/Husky 8 month old has stool issues, it was very mushy for the longest time when we first got him. I tried several different foods, eliminated human food all together nothing helped. Until I got this stool fix powder. I add 4 scoops to his dry food for his 2 daily meals and his stool is solid now, unless he gets into something. I highly recommend this product! Works well on my puppy with a sensitive stomach/digestion !

Not working much yet

I got this with hopes that I finally found something to help our 8 year old rescue GSD. We've been dealing with diarrhea for the 3 yrs we've had her and nothing

I got this with hopes that I finally found something to help our 8 year old rescue GSD. We've been dealing with diarrhea for the 3 yrs we've had her and nothing seems to help. She's been on this for 2 weeks and have had a couple semi formed stools, which is better than it was. I'm going to finish the container and see if it does any better. For the ones that said they couldn't get their dog to eat it, I put a scoop of food in a Ziploc bag, along with the measured amount of powder and mix it around. The oils in the food soak it in and you can't see the powder. I have to do this because my dog wouldn't touch the food with the powder on top.
