Has anyone noticed a decrease in the actual marking behavior with these, or do your dogs still mark but the band absorbs what they leak?

These belly wraps are designed to be snug and stay put, however a very determined dog may be able to remove or displace them.

Can you use pantie liners or pad in the wraps ?

The Dog Wrap has a sewn-in super absorbent pad to hold liquid in the pad and since they’re made with precise stitching and quality fabrics, they can stand up to frequent washing and everyday use. No extra liner is needed but if preferred can be used.

Good quality and performance

I have two dogs one is almost nine years old the other is maybe four. Our younger one named Zeus, likes to mark his territory a lot, and that can often pose a problem

I have two dogs one is almost nine years old the other is maybe four. Our younger one named Zeus, likes to mark his territory a lot, and that can often pose a problem in a house with tons of carpet. It’s comfy for him and he doesn’t mind it at all. Our other dog, Jacob is getting a little bit older and so this was a good purchase for him.

Note: I always close the velcro and place the belly bands inside off a small lingerie wash bag to keep the velcro from sticking to other items and from picking up excess threads/fuzz from the laundry.

So well made!

These garments (we refer to them as Sky's cummerbunds) have saved our house. Since receiving them, we haven't had to clean up any "sprinkles" at all. He is a long-coat Alaskan Malamute, so we need the XL with the extender. He doesn't mind wearing them at all, and so far, the Velcro is holding beautifully without attracting tons of his fur. I highly recommend these for elderly incontinent pooches.

Quality belly bands

I decided on Pet Parents belly bands for male dogs because in the past I was very pleased with the high quality of their diapers for female dogs. Lucky me, the act

I decided on Pet Parents belly bands for male dogs because in the past I was very pleased with the high quality of their diapers for female dogs. Lucky me, the act of wearing a belly band seems to deter my dog from peeing n the house, so I can’t speak definitively about their absorbency, but they are nice and thick so I am assuming they absorb as well as the female diapers. The Velcro holds tightly and is stitched on well, so I have no concerns about the belly bands coming undone. Usually they stay on my dog for 3 to 4 hours, but he’s a mellow senior dog so this “stay on” time is based on him mostly sleeping while wearing them. He has learned that by rubbing against the couch or wriggling on his back he can slip out of it, but as he’s gotten used to wearing a belly band, he doesn’t try to get out of it as often. My one complaint is the colors and patterns. I wish Pet Parents had cuter patterns. I also wish they would put together belly bands packs based on dark vs. light colored dogs. For example, they’ve got silver and dark blue belly bands in the same pac. Silver is good for dark colored dogs, but not that great on light colored dogs, and vice versa for dark blue.

I have several of these because I thought they would be great for a vacation. They were our first try at male wraps. Despite numerous washing, the odor stays in the wrap. Also, you must change them often so as to prevent urine burn. We used them for the vaca because we had nothing else, but we have now switched ot disposables and even with those you must change them right away. Our groomer and vet do not like these at all - reusable or disposable.
