Ouchy
My dog hated this brush. It pulls and has sharp bristles. I stuck with it because of the cost, which I'm ashamed of. We bought a cheaper non retractable brush that I have to use a comb to clean out, but no one feels tortured.
This is great for my cat, helps with shedding.

absolutely love the self-cleaning function
So my dog doesn't necessarily enjoy being brushed by this brush, however that's on me for not desensitizing this brush properly. It does a fairly good job and grabbing onto the loose furs that are being shed, and it's so easy to remove the excess fur from the brush. However, for my fluffy and long-coated dog, i find sometimes the bristles aren't long enough to reach all the way into his coat.

Retractable tooth cat/dog brush
It is so much easier to clean the hair with the retracted bristles. It is gentle and efficient! I am glad I found this item.
Nice while it lasted
I had this brush for about a year (using 2-3 times a month) before it broke. It was really nice at first, but now it’s completely unusable as the bristles won’t stay out. I won’t be buying this one again.
Great Brush
Works really well. Easily detangles and removes dead/lose hair from my mini Aussie's coat and the hair really does just fall off after you press the button. Couldn't be easier.
