One of my cats got some good play time out of it, it’s definitely not her favorite but it entertains her for a little bit. My other cat is completely uninterested but he’s always picky about toys.
Just adopted a new kitty about a year old. She was playing with this when she was in the shelter like crazy. I bought her one from home and it just sits here.
I showed it to my cats. I rolled it back and forth. They barely even deigned to come over and give it a sniff, much less trying to chase it or bat it around. It's a clever design, some cats might like it, but mine not so much.
I have 5 indoor cats, so always trying to find something to help keep them entertained. I saw this and thought wow, it makes sound and rolls, they will love this. Got as a Christmas gift. Took it out and rolled it on the floor, all 5 cats watched it roll. Got up, sniffed it. Took a hesitant paw bap at it and decided that was about all the interest they were going to have. I tried putting catnip on the mouse, nope....still no interest. I still think it is a great toy, but perhaps my cats are just too spolied and lazy to appreciate it???!!!!
I had bought this for a very rambunctious Siamese cat, she would play with it alot. She died recently and the toy wasnt played with until I bought a Great Dane puppy. She is 19 wks old and more than 50 lbs. now. But this is a favorite, she dismantles everything but this toy is stuff and has survived. Great toy all around.
I had this for a few days before my daughter saw that there was a tab you could pull out that activated a noise. It's unrealistic, so you don't second guess what the noise is (it only makes noise when it moves). The toy is about the size of a softball and looks pretty durable. My cats keep it nearby and play with it every day. It's exactly what I was looking for.
I thought it looked interesting, so I purchased it even though I thought it was overpriced. None of my cats found it interesting. Maybe I can play with it.
My cats were supremely uninterested in this. I tried to get them interested for a while but no dice. It was VERY difficult to get the battery out for recycling.
My seven cats showed very little interest in the toy.
This is a fantastic toy for 3 young adult boys. They go crazy for it. What I like about it - it can't get under stuff like the refrigerator or the tv stand. GREAT GIFT!
