My chickens love this feed. It does have meal in it along with variety of seeds. I just add a bit of water to it. This leaves no waste at the end of day. I do feed daily due to having to remove dish at end of day due to prevent rodents. I really like this feed the best. I would put it on par with Scatch & Peck except this feed is more affordable.

Great Feed!!!

I have used Peterson organic chicken feed for years. They are local to us and it's awesome they are now available on Chewy. Chickens love the feed and the only downside

I have used Peterson organic chicken feed for years. They are local to us and it's awesome they are now available on Chewy. Chickens love the feed and the only downside is there is alot of dust. Some bags have less dust and some are mostly dust. I wish they would mix it and just make pellets as I know the dust is salt, maple, DE, all good stuff but chickens don't eat dust. I'm going to try buying here and see if it's a better bag.
