Exactly what we were looking for
Our dog, Russell, is 65-70 lbs Labrabull (Lab Pitbull mix) with long legs. We bought the XL size and it is perfect for him to be able to stretch out and still have some extra room. We hated that he had to scrunch into or hang off of the other dog beds in our home. I love how thick and dense the foam mattress is. We bought an extra mattress cover and bed cover so one can be in the wash while the other is on the bed. I love that the bolster is tall and very dense, because my big guy loves to have a pillow or something to rest his head on. This bed is perfect for us.
XL Pet Fusion Bed
I have 3 of the XL beds for my 3 Rotties. I’ve had 2 for over a year and they love them. Seem to be super comfortable to them. Once a week I remove cover and wash, vacuuming a few times in between washes. Very easy to maintain. They don’t try to chew them up either and the beds act as a place to play as well. Looking to get something for outside lounging for them by Pet Fusion next.
super strong bed
This bed has been great. I feel like because it’s water resistant or whatever, it doesn’t hold onto smells much. Which is an added bonus. I’m lucky that my dog can distinguish her bed from her toys that she regularly destroys. She loves it though. Sleeps on it every night. I wish Chewy offered a smaller size or would restock the smaller size so I could buy a second one for my dads corgi who chews EVERYTHING. This bed would be perfect.
Finally a bed that seems to be tough enough!
Cricket is a digger. Even though we try to limit that with her beds, she's destroyed 5 in the last year (including 1 that didn't survive puppy chewing)! It's been really hard to find a bed with bolsters, which she loves, that has a durable cushion covering. I think this one will last! We did put a throw over it because the cushion isn't the softest fabric and she has settled right in. What little digging she's done to the cushion itself is not showing damage yet. Fingers crossed it continues! It was more expensive than I'd hoped, but cheaper in the long run if it lasts.
CUSHION!
Finally a bed that actually has a thick supportive cushion! Not to mention this is by far the easiest bed to clean. My dog actually quit getting in my bed once I bought this for her because I’m telling ya it’s more comfortable than a mattress! Worth every single penny!
PetFusion Bed
I was very satisfied with my previous Petfusion bed purchase. However, the new bed I just received is not the same quality. The previous bed's foam puffed up to a generous 4" thick and has remained that thickness for 5 years. This foam - even after waiting 5 days vs the noted 1-2 days is still only at maximum 3" and only in some areas. Most of the foam is only 2" thick. I will be returning this item.
Great Dog Bed!
I had seen this bed at someone's house and really liked it. My girl (6yrs) is picky and has only used one dog bed we have. (We have multiple) While that bed is still good. It is old and I wanted to update it. She lays on this one more than she did her old one! It is nice quality. I really like that it has the water-resistant cover. Outer cover seems to be nice quality and I am hoping it stands up to washing like my other beds have.
Great bed that gives support
I have two labs that are getting older ( 9 and 11) and needed beds with good support for their joints. I spent a lot of time researching various models and came across this one. Both of my dogs seem to like it and I love the support it gives them. I bought the X-Large ones to ensure them enough room. (They are 75 to 100 pounds.) When I first got the beds I allowed about two days for the memory foam to fully take shape before being used.
Goldilocks can't find one that's 'just right'!
Although the quality of this item cannot be beat...Why, oh why do they not make a Medium Size? Large is too large (takes up half the room and we added pillows to make our dog more comfortable). Small is too small, our dog doesn't fit. Aren't there enough medium-size dogs to warrant making a bed that's 'just right for them?
Best dog bed purchase yet
I purchased this bed (size large) December 2022 (from another online retailer due to stock availability) for my 50# staffy who has some premature arthritis and needs extra support. The memory foam mattress has worked out perfectly for her. The bonuses with this bed is the mattress comes with its own slipcover protection, saving the mattress and also making it easier to slip back into the bed cover after washing. The bolster is shaped to help restuff after washing also. Very durable fabric (not fleece) and the better quality zippers are "hidden" or protected with flaps. Some thought went into designing this bed. My pup does not destroy her beds so I don't have that issue. The cover gets washed every week (her allergies) and is holding up well. I anticipate this bed lasting much longer than my previous foam mattress bed purchases.
